Champions of Chaos, Middle-earth, and Necromunda Are Inbound in This Week’s Sunday Preview
Another week awaits, which means another batch of awesome new Warhammer releases is on its way too! Next weekend is the midpoint of the extended Black Templars pre-order window, but they’re certainly not alone – here are the highlights of the other upcoming new releases. That’s right, we’ve got returning classics from the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, new archeotech gizmos and more for your Van Saar gangs, as well as an incredible – and commemorative – champion of the Dark Gods for Warhammer Age of Sigmar all up for pre-order next weekend. Speaking of whom, let’s kick things off with this ferocious warrior…Warhammer Age of Sigmar
Holga Clovenhorn
This Aspiring Champion of the Oathsworn tribes is the perfect addition to your Slaves to Darkness collection. She’s certainly tooled up for war – not only does she have a sword and daemonic shield strapped to her back, she’s carrying with one of the largest spiked mauls you’re ever likely to see. It’s clear to see how she earned her ‘Clovenhorn’ moniker, as one of her majestic horns had been shorn from her head – no doubt in a deadly duel with a rival champion from which she emerged triumphant.
Holga Clovenhorn is actually the 2021 Warhammer Age of Sigmar event miniature, and was originally going to make her global debut at Adepticon earlier this year. Well, we don’t want anyone to miss out due to the pandemic, so this commemorative model will be available to order through games-workshop.com from next weekend – with no pre-order window.
Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game
Fans of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game also have an exciting opportunity next weekend – specifically, to pick up some classic miniatures that haven’t been in the range for some time.
Kardûsh the Firecaller
This pyromaniacal Orc Shaman has been trained in the art of sorcery by one of the Nazgûl, and is so skilled in its use that he can hurl magical fireballs into enemy ranks. If you want to supplement your Mordor army’s firepower with some, you know, ACTUAL fire, then look no further.
Twilight Ringwraiths
When Frodo slipped on the One Ring in a desperate attempt to elude the Nazgûl at Weathertop, their true forms were revealed to him in all their dark splendour. These miniatures make perfect replacements for your black-robed Nazgûl should the Ringbearer do the same in your games of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game.
Thranduil, the Elvenking
The King of Mirkwood’s skill with a blade is known across the lands – and greatly feared by his enemies. This miniature captures Thranduil in a dynamic fighting stance, ready to slice and dice in the blink of an eye. If you want your Elvenking to look like every bit the lethal warrior he is, make sure you add this miniature to your collection.
Mirkwood Elf Captains
If you’re looking to start or expand your Mirkwood force, this pair of Captains make for excellent supplementary Heroes. This set includes one Mirkwood Ranger Captain and one Palace Guard Captain – perfect for commanding a warband of Mirkwood Rangers and Palace Guards respectively.
The White Council
The wisest of the wise, the White Council comprises many of the mightiest beings in Middle-earth, united in common cause to oppose the tyranny of Sauron. This classic set of four miniatures depicts Saruman the White, Gandalf the Grey, Galadriel, and Elrond as they were when the convened at Rivendell to discuss the quest of Thorin Oakenshield to slay Smaug and restore Erebor to its former glory.
All of these Heroes of Good and Evil are available to order for one week only from next weekend, returning from whence they came on Sunday the 28th of November 2021. Make sure you secure your copies of these rare miniatures before they disappear once more.
Necromunda
The industries of the House of Artifice have been hard at work to bring welcome reinforcements for your Van Saar gangs – check out the latest Necromunda kits that are up for pre-order next weekend from Forge World.
Van Saar Arachni-rig
The Arachni-rig may look like a mechanical monstrosity, but it’s in fact a stylised servo-rig designed to lend its wearer immense strength for performing load-bearing tasks in heavy industry. With a bit of retrofitting, however, it can be tooled up to become a devastating weapons platform to spearhead a gang war.
An Arachni-rig serves as a Brute for the House of Artifice, and can be outfitted in a variety of ways according to your need. The servo-rig itself can be shielded with light or heavy carapace armour cladding, while its choice of weaponry includes a mix of crushing servo-arms and either rad or plasma guns for cutting down targets from afar.
Van Saar Champion in Carapace Armour with Cyberachnids
If your Van Saars are in need of some devastating fire support, look no further than this carapace-armoured champion, armed with a lascannon for all your one-shot-one-kill needs. He’s accompanied by three Cyberachnids – mechanically augmented exotic beasts that can effortlessly traverse any terrain and incapacitate their prey with toxic venom.
Van Saar Champions in Mesh and Flak Armour
This pair of Van Saar champions make a great addition to your gang. Equipped with reliable weapons, solid armour, and advanced bodysuits, they’ll dominate the underhive at every range with their souped-up las weapons and servo glove. Either champion can be used as an Augmek or an Archeotek to suit your gang’s needs.
Warhammer: Age of Sigmar ist unter anderem bei unseren Partnern Fantasy-In und Minyarts erhältlich.

Also der Van Saar Champion hat schon ziemlich starke Infinity Vibes…inkl. Tactical „Rock“ aka Schrottplatte…
Hat schon was…
