BattleFX: Galaxy is a project containing more than 40 3D printable files, meticulously designed to enhance the look and feel of your miniatures from galaxies far, far away. The kickstarter campaign includes files for effects such as weapon and shield effects, scenery details, and gaming aides that will bring a completely new dimension of movement and energy to your minis.

The goal of this kickstarter campaign is to bring something new and fresh to those cool looking miniatures, to achieve a new level of realism and dynamism, using the “Force” of 3D printing. After delivering three successful kickstarter campaigns, we wanted to continue developing products and bring some uniqueness to tabletop games everywhere!

Now, we know that simply giving away things is not really the dark side way, but since you took the time to get to know this campaign, we would like to offer some of our unique designs to the 3D printing community – FOR FREE!

One of the best things of travelling the Galaxy (or, in this case, of using Kickstarter to back our projects) is the friends we make along the way, such as Epic Basing. Epic Basing is a studio focused on making amazing bases for your tabletop miniatures, adding an incredible layer of detail to every base on the tabletop.

We have partnered with Epic Basing to bring to you a plethora of their pre-release bits and 3D files, which will be part of the BattleFX Galaxy Bundle, so you will be getting more money for your buck!

Stretch Goals:

How do stretch goals work? We are happy to introduce participative stretch goals! As the campaign progresses, new stretch goals will be unlocked and will be added to the pledges.

We created specific muzzles flashes trying to fit the aesthetic of the movies

And so, just like a veteran clone squad, everybody gets to work together and participate! Some goals are already determined, and some goals will be decided by our loyal backers.

To decide what wondrous new FXs will be unlocked, all our backers will receive a link to a poll asking for their preferences. This will help us decide which FX gets unlocked whenever we achieve a milestone.

The best thing about being a part of a community such as the 3D printing one is when we get to see what the creativity and talent of its members. that is why we believe the best people to decide what amazing new FX gets unlocked next is YOU!

Because there are several factions in the tabletop game, we will work to include enough stretch goals to please every fan!

Pledges:

All our pledges will have access to the basic 40 FX files as well as all additional FXs files that we may unlock together during this campaign.

Additionally, if you were late to the party but liked our previous Battle FX Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadlyprintstudio/battlefx), you get the chance to snatch those files by choosing the „In a galaxy far, far away“ pledge!

The best part about 3D printing is that it allows anyone to take their unique ideas and turn them into something real. Nothing beats the feeling of seeing something you came up with taking physical form on your tabletop.

Do you have an idea? We want to make it true! With our pledges you can have your unique idea turned into a printable file by our master sculptors.

Custom-made effects are divided into three categories: S, M and L.

• The S category includes small effects of little complexity
• The M category includes either a small and complex effect or a medium one of little complexity
• The L category includes large simple effects or small and medium effects of high complexity

Please, note that all custom FX will be added to the campaign, so EVERYBODY benefits! What the hive devours, the hive adapts!

As we have seen, this kickstarter is offering a bundle of stl files for you to print your own effects. We are aware that not everybody has access to a 3D printer yet, and so we are pleased to announce that all our FX will be for sale, in printed form, on our website as soon as the bundle has gone out to the backers (one month after the end of the campaign).

Please note that each Fx will be sold separately, given the sheer number of files included on our bundle. There will be no bundle that includes all of the physical FX from this campaign.
