Victrix: Bogenschützen Preview

Bei Victrix wird fleißig an neuen Bogenschützen aus der Zeit Roms und des finsteren Mittelalters gearbeitet.

PRODUCT UPDATE: EARLY IMPERIAL ROMAN ARCHERS

Here we have renders of the upcoming Early Imperial Roman archers set.

The frame includes 2 Eastern/Syrian Auxiliary Roman archers with head and arm options and 2 Western Roman auxiliary archers with head and arm options and. There are multiple quiver options so you can make some varied archer units for your Early Imperial Roman armies.

There will be 24 figures in the set so you can make 2 units of 12 archers.

What we call Eastern archers were from areas in Syria but were deployed all over the Empire including Britain and Dacia. What we call western archers are simply the auxiliary archer units not raised in Syria and again were deployed throughout the Empire.

You an easily use some command figures from the already released Auxiliary infantry set and sure you could use some spare bow arms on those figures to make even more body positions for your archers.

DARK AGE ARCHERS: NEW RENDERS

Here are some renders of the second Dark Age archer pose.

He has plenty of arm and head options to make him Norman, Viking, Saxon and numerous other nationalities. This will be an extremely versatile and useful set of miniatures.

We’ve included a horn arm option as well as a few other command figure parts. These will be useful for those who want to represent archer command bases.
