Sculpted by hand and made in Australia using highest quality resin, the Marvels are monster-sized characters designed to fit with the 32mm-scale miniatures of Twisted.
Help us bring these Monstrous Marvels to life so they can join your adventures through the murky steam-ridden alleyways of New London!
Highest Quality Resin
The original clay sculptures will be expertly moulded and cast by hand in the highest quality polyurethane resin right here in Australia at Magos Miniatures. This means every resin copy will be a perfect reproduction of the original.
We have the highest standard of quality control, and with everything being produced here in Australia we can be sure of premium quality. The resin we use has been specifically sourced for both it’s ability to capture fine detail, and also for its strength and flexibility. Simply put, it’s the best resin we have ever worked with, and we are sure you’ll agree.
Campaign Visual Summary
The Monstrous Marvels can be played by any Faction in Twisted! We have themed a Marvel for each existing Faction, but they are designed to be ‚free agents‘. We want you all to have fun trying out each and every Marvel in your Twisted Company!
Unlike most other Engine Nodes around the world, the Nubt Node has accessed the hundreds of canopic jars surrounding it for centuries, absorbing the spirits and knowledge of those interred within.
The Nubt Node has a particular propensity to create creatures of its own devising, based on the memories and beliefs of those it has absorbed. The Inscrutable Sphinx is a melding of metal and mystical beast given life by the engine and controlled by the mastery of Carter.
This Sphinx is unleashed when Carter seeks to sow discord and confusion. The beauty and elegance of its form belie the fear it can instill in those to which it turns its mesmerising gaze.
If one thing is certain, it is that those who master Alchemancy will most often use it to serve their own ends. The vile Nancy is one such: in addition to her Urkin experiments, she has discovered the means of cobbling together Sewer Golems from refuse and detritus found in the subterranean lurks beneath London. These Golems are not so much manufactured as ’summoned‘: raw materials are gathered in a great pile, and the Sewer Golem is animated by the spark of pure Alchemantic energy.
These Sewer Golems must be managed very carefully as they are wont to run amok if left unmonitored. But the danger of utilising these constructs is far outweighed by the looming threat a Sewer Golem poses to those seeking to thwart the Dickensians‘ plans…
Cuttleberry the Urkin: FREE
Cuttleberry Skinn is an Urkin whose fondness for a spot of sewer angling is rivalled only by his indolence. He loves nothing better than sitting quietly in the dank, foetid tunnels hooking fish (of a sort) and all sorts of curios for his fellow Urkin to turn into some sort of deadly device.
As much as Nancy’s new Sewer Golems are a true powerhouse, Cuttleberry seems to have a curious bond with them and can influence their behaviour. He can often be seen using a Golem as a fishing perch as it wades into the deeper ’settling tanks‘, allowing the young fellow to catch his fill of Swinefish – a vile but valued Urkin foodsource (compared to Sewer Rat, Swinefish is a true delight…)
Each Sewer Golem comes with Cuttleberry for free. You don’t need to attach him but he does look rather sweet perched on the Golem’s shoulder – don’t you think?
Beneath the city of London is the vast network of tunnels and drains that are home to strange Sewer Slimes, rats the size of leopards, and things less pleasant still. Her Majesty’s Guild of Sewer Scuffers are tasked with keeping these tunnels as clean as one might reasonably expect, and free of nasties that might upset Londoners at their breakfasts. Autonomous Scuffer Drones clean and scour constantly, and report back to the Guild any sightings of intruders or unsavoury creatures needing further investigation.
The Tunnelling Spinner is the largest construct the Scuffers Guild has at its disposal. Often driven by a Master of the Guild the Spinner is nevertheless capable of operating independently when needed. It has the same logic unit as the No.53 Model Mining Gentlefolk and is quite able to mount an aggressive defence if provoked.
Recently the Guild’s Quartermasters have noted the disappearance of a number of these Tunnelling Spinners, and reports are coming in of Spinners operating in the streets accompanied by armed folk of unknown provenance…
In your games of Twisted, opposing Characters can attempt to jump into the driver’s seat, grab the levers and override control of the Tunnelling Spinner in the midst of combat – utter chaos is sure to ensue!
The recent escalation of confrontations around the London Node between the Dickensians and the Servants of the Engine is exceeding even the capacity of the Guild of Harmony to cope. The further chaos created by the arrival of Carter and his so-called Scions of the Sands has stretched things to breaking point – Guild reinforcements are needed to counter the growing threat!
Immanuel Agar – Principal of the Ethicist arm of the Guild of Harmony – has tasked Tricia Harker with seeking extra operational support; she knew of just the ally they needed. Rumours have long swirled around a fabled fifth member of the Monkey King’s Troupe: a mighty mythical being made material by the power of the Engine, and devoted to maintaining the Alchemantic status quo.
Until now, Long Ma has remained a recluse high in the Himalayas close to the long lost Eastern Node. But recent events are shifting the balance, and it is whispered Long Ma the Dragon Horse has left his mountain home and is now on his way to London…
Add-ons:
We have some extraordinary extras available to Add-On to your Rewards! Simply choose the additional miniatures you like, and add the appropriate amount to your pledge total.
MONUMENTAL pledge tier automatically includes all 4 Add-Ons!
The Guild of Harmony have hundreds of lesser Agents at their disposal. These Agents serve as their eyes and ears and, on occasion, fists. Though not as talented or experienced as the Creed Operatives like Dorothy or Pigsty, the Agents nonetheless serve a useful purpose.
This miniature comes with the game cards necessary to play him as a Guild Agent on the table, but he also serves very nicely as ‚The Spy‘ in Mission 6: Streetsweeper from the Twisted Rulebook or even Lord Cain-Pruis from Mission 15: VIP (although apparently disguised as a ruffian in this case!)
The Inscrutable Sphinx, in her mysterious wisdom, has the ability to transform herself into a graceful and deadly humanoid form known as the Demi-Sphinx. In this lithe, agile form she can quickly move (relatively) disguised through the city of London gathering intelligence, only revealing her true monstrous form when she deems it necessary.
She may be petite, but the powers of the Demi-Sphinx are not to be underestimated. She is fast – very fast, in fact – able to strike and seemingly vanish in a blur almost before her foes are even aware of her presence.
TUNNELLING SPINNER REQUIRED
Note: Count Duviel is an extension to the Tunnelling Spinner kit. To make the full Count Duviel miniature pictured above, you require a Tunnelling Spinner + Count Duviel Upgrade.
The origins of Count Duviel remain an unsolved riddle. Despite the best efforts of Guild of Harmony agents, the only scrap of information yet uncovered is an obscure reference in a passenger manifest referring to a nobleman by the name of Moises Duviel, who arrived on the continent via Steam Dirigible some months ago. Beyond that, all that is known for certain is that the terrifying entity calling itself Count Duviel is no longer fully human.
What has been proven without question is that Duviel is possessed of a frightening power and seems to ally himself with no-one, seeking only to take control of the Engine for himself.
The Archivists of the Orientation arm of the Guild Anarchists, who are particularly interested in studying Count Duviel, have noted some kind of never-before-seen biomechanical bond between him and The Engine. But how this occurred – and the limit of this bond’s power – is yet to be determined. All that is known for sure is that Count Duviel must be prevented from draining more of this dreadful power lest he become a greater threat than any yet seen…
The Count Duviel character was designed by one of our amazing Twisted supporters: Moises Duviel Irizarry. Moises had his hand extensively operated on and partially reconstructed due to it being destroyed by a bone tumour, so Count Duviel is a personal tribute to him overcoming this personal struggle.
A huge and hulking brute, the Scarab Mummy is a strange entity – another of the mystical creatures exhumed from the deep desert by the animating power of the Nubt Node of the Engine!
A melding of human form with insectoid beetle features makes this beast petrifying to those not of stout heart. The Scarab Mummy’s great cleaving scythe-like blades can dismember a foe in moments, while its beetle wings allow it to fly, bringing destruction from the air at terrifying speed. The Scarab Mummy can also spit gobbets of acidic spittle that should be rightly feared by heavily armoured foes.
This miniature has previously been released in a very limited number, but has been re-tooled and is now included here as a special re-release because we think he clearly belongs with the other Monstrous Marvels. (and because we really like him!)

Sind wieder einige sehr schicke Sachen dabei. Gerade die ägyptoeske Schiene spielen sie echt gut. Vor allem schön, dass sie weiterhin nicht dem Gefälligen anheim fallen.
