Statuesque Miniatures: Left at the… Teil 2

Der Kickstarter „Left at the Bottom of the Garden“ bekommt eine knuffige Fortsetzung.

All the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Chapter Two toys! I’ve got all the painted figures photographed now, though I think I’ll use inked metal for the main photos in the Kickstarter – I like the contrast of the metal and moss. Still on course for 1st September launch! Fingers crossed…

Hello!

It’s about time for an update, I think. I’ve not been posting much as, to be honest, there’s not been much to post about. Long days but short weeks are likely something a lot of you have been experiencing this year, and all of a sudden it’s the end of August. For me, this has resulted in pretty extreme creative block – half formed ideas and sculpting that goes nowhere and a very scunnered Andrew. Not something I wish to inflict on you all.

And that has also meant that the idea of running a Kickstarter hasn’t been very appealing. But that feeling is passing, I’ve actually been able to do some proper sculpting and now, hopefully, I’ll be able to launch the Left at the Bottom of the Garden Chapter Two Kickstarter very soon. I’m currently thinking a 1st of September launch and a fairly short campaign.

My current to-do list includes taking photos of all the new and existing toys. Whereas the first Kickstarter photos involved me crouched behind a wall like a weirdo, beset by midgies and a temperamental camera, this year I’ve had to try and recreate a similar scene indoors. With the trees in full leaf there just wasn’t enough light. The camera is still temperamental, but at least there aren’t midgies to worry about (unless I leave my windows open at night, but that’s another story).

So yeah, 1st of September for the Kickstarter, assuming I get everything done. I’m sure there were other things I meant to write about but that’ll have to do for now!
