Medieval Cog Sailing Ship (28mm) – 17,50 GBP
Fitted with a single mast and a square-rigged single sail and measuring 15 to 25 meters (49 to 82 ft) in length with a beam of 5 to 8 meters (16 to 26 ft) they were widely used during the 12th Century as trading vessels.
One such Cog outfitted for war provided by the Earl of Pembroke grappled the French flagship during the Battle of Sandwich (24th August 1217). The resultant capture of the Capetian French commander’s Admiral Eustace the Monk and Robert I, the younger son of the emperor Peter II of Courtenay, defeated the French armada and ended Prince Louis attempt to conquer England.

The Stalwart HMLC (Truck, High Mobility Load Carrier) FV620 Mk1, was a 5 Ton, 6 x 6, highly mobile amphibious military truck – aka the Stolly.
Serving with the British Army from 1966 until 1992 the Stolly was ideal for resupplying units in the field, particularly those of the British Army of the Rhine.

+1 War direkt mein erster Gedanke. Obwohl ich zuerst mal den rohen Bausatz sehen möchte um zu schaun, ob ich das Modellbautechnisch hin kriege.
sieht doch sehr einfach aus: MDF-Gerippe, dann Pappplanken außen. Die kleinen Türmchen sind doch auch einfach gemacht.

Ich würde mal auf die Pioniere tippen (wegen schwimmfähig und so)
… wenn’s bei der US-Armee im Einsatz gewesen wäre, dann hätte man es sicher schon bei den Steelbuddies gesehen… 😉

Das coole ist das der Kübel durch das Design auch bei diversen Sci-Fi Klamotten funktionieren würde. In jeder Minen-Kolonie oder sonstigem Aussenposten

Werde aber die Kogge von Thomarillion vorziehen. da muss ich beim fast selben Preis nichts selber bauen.
