New cavalry for the War of the Triple Alliance
We have the first of the Brazilian and Argentine cavalry for the TA range. The Brazilians are represented in the 1866 service uniform, which was used on campaign along with more informal ‘gaucho’ clothing which will be covered later. Some of the Argentinians are wearing ‘chiripa’; which although forbidden to be used by regulars, was often cheerfully ignored. There were also many unusual uniform variations of for the Argentine National Guard cavalry, which will be covered later.
These are all up on our website with the appropriate quick painting guide to help under the code. The War of the Triple Alliance 1864-70

A month or so ago Alan showed a French battalion (plastic FN 250, with metal heads FN 236-237) that was about to be sent off to be painted. We have just received the painted French battalion by the very talented Maurizio Amadori. It’s fantastic work from Mau as you can see.
