News and New stuff!
We are carrying on with normal business during the crisis as long as we can. We’ll endeavor to keep releasing new metal codes but unfortunately the new plastic Austrian Cavalry release, due out for Salute, will have to be postponed. This isn’t down to Renedera, they have worked extremely hard for the last 6 month to get them ready for Salute. It’s down to how the situation might be in a couple of weeks’ time. We have a small staff and a large release would not be a good idea if we are not 100% effective.
We will send orders out as normal but cannot guarantee the efficiency of each country’s postal system at the moment. You’ll have more of an idea about your own country’s postal capabilities.
We’ll let you know of any further developments…We have a couple of small metal releases; French Line Horse Artillery in Kinski coats which would probably be the most common wear between 1808 and 1813. These are manning 4 pounders made by Norman Swales. We also have some Danish colonels which happily coincide with Helion & Company’s new book on the Danish Army which we now have in stock.

This book was written to provide an in-depth study of the Danish and Norwegian armies of the Napoleonic Wars. The goal was to provide a working document which is as accurate as possible, covering the uniforms of these armies, their weapons and their evolution as well as their colours and a look at their basic tactics. Although this is principally a uniform book, historical background is also provided to place the details in their context.
