“The Russian guns” — well, the Muscovite ones anyway! The Ivan the Terrible Muscovite army for our late 16th century range is coming along nicely. Was going to release them in two waves—infantry and artillery, than cavalry and high command—but the cavalry are almost finished casting, and Alexey paints very quickly, so I’ll probably be able to release them all together if I wait a month or so. Then the whole army will drop at once, like a Netflix series. 😄
Another preview of the Ivan the Terrible sets of Muscovites for our late 16th century range. We think of Cossacks as light lancer cavalry but in this early period they were mostly skirmishing foot with firearms, although some were mounted arquebusier types as well. Here are the foot — the range should be available in a month or so, depending on how quickly I get the sales castings and the paintups.
We are very pleased to release the first codes in our early 16th century Italian wars range — “Ravenna to Rome, 1509-1527”
http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/early-sixteenth-centur…(… and yes we know 1509 is the battle of Agnadello, not Ravenna, but “Ravenna to Rome” sounds better).
The first releases are the gendarmes/elmeti, and the codes for the French troops (Archers, other lighter cavalry, and foot and guns). Landsknechts and Stradiots will be made next, then Spanish and Italians.
