Khurasan Miniatures Neuheiten

We are very pleased to update our Ottoman Turkish range with Early Janissaries, available now:

http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/ottoman.html

These have the earlier Bork hat, the much simpler sleeve appearance, supposedly representing the arm of the dervish saint Haji Bektash Veli, reaching out to bless the corps. The janissaries in the fourteenth and fifteen centuries may have looked predominantly like this, before the reshape of the “sleeve” and the addition of the kasiklik on the front of the metal hat band.

More new Ottoman codes coming soon!
