Khurasan Miniatures Neue Previews 01

Here’s an example of how the “pavise” works with the upcoming Koreans in Khurasan’s 15mm Mongol range. The subject infantry are depicted in the Invasion Scrolls carrying it, but they are also shown several times as carrying a stick, and on the boats before landing they are shown with the pavises propped up around the bulwarks as an arrow barrier. They have been made so they can be depicted either way. Moulds being made now.

Next sets of 28mm late 12th century knights have just been sculpted — in surcoats, and, shown here, in Holy Orders mantles. This is the commander and musician in mantle from the holy orders command set — and as can be seen, caparisoned horses have been made as well.
