USMC ETO (United States Marine Corps, Extraterrestrial Operations) riflemen often wear jump packs on Assault Operations — on the moon these jump packs can propel a platoon for several hundred kilos — and spare fuel cells are “humped” as well for the return trip.
In the States the USMC ETO are referred to as the White Knights due to their combat uniform, mostly by civilians who have never heard the salty dialogue going across the comms during “jumps” ….
