Khurasan – Legionäre – 15mm
Heroic 15mm legionaries advancing. Very excited about these! Six poses but tried to get them looking like the unstoppable Roman military machine, so the shields are positioned more or less at the same level.
These are in the heartier “heroic” proportions which should make them both easier to paint and stand out much more at a meters viewing distance than your typical 15s. This is the genius of the Copplestone sculpts — besides being bloody good sculpts they have the slightlythicker proportions of many British sculpted figurines and adds more character. When I read he’d decided to definitely not do the Romans I decided to get them made in the same general style.
These are actually going to be one of the thirty opposing armies in our Raumm Earl of Hell range — naturally they’ll be cross marketed as Trajanic Romans but in the fantasy range a few additional fun bits might be added as well. Any ideas?
Auxilia, mule artillery and command next, then cavalry.

Figuren etwas größer zu machen als der Masstab, für den sie eigentlich bestimmt sind, würde ich nicht gerade als „genius“ bezeichnen.
Schöne Figuren sonst, wenn auch für einen Bereich der nicht gerade eine unversorgte Lücke darstellt.
