Iron Duke Miniatures –  Sikh Kriege

New figures, sculpted by Paul Hicks of course: Ensigns in shell jackets. Ideal for HM 22nd (The Cheshire) Regiment at Meeanee and Hyderabad and many other units and settings besides, including both Anglo-Sikh Wars. Bear in mind that infantry officers frequently wore shell jackets in the field, even when the men were in coatees, in order to avoid ruining their tailor-made coatees, which cost something around the £12 mark; just about a fortnight’s pay for the CO, let alone anybody else; and about four times the price of a shell jacket. In other words these two chaps can be used very flexibly.
