GW: Neue Bandai Space Marines
Games Workshop kündigen weitere Space Marine Action Figuren an, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Bandai hergestellt werden.
Big Battle-Brothers from Bandai
It’s time to make some space on your display shelves, because new premium Space Marines action figures are on the way from Bandai.
Last year, our partners at Bandai put their considerable experience in action figure design towards creating a big (battle-)brother for your Space Marines Citadel miniatures.
The Ultramarines Intercessor action figure was incredibly popular and sold out quickly, and since then, Bandai have been hard at work on new designs so that Space Marines fans everywhere can get their very own articulated Angels of Death. Allow us to introduce Imperial Fists and Salamanders Intercessors.
The Imperial Fists action figure represents a Primaris battle-brother from the sixth squad of the Chapter’s Third Company. He is armed with an auto bolt rifle that’s fitted with an auxiliary grenade launcher, and he also comes with a combat knife. He has three choices of hand for each arm, allowing you to pose him in a wide variety of ways as he defends the walls of Terra (or, you know, your bookcases).
His cousin from the Salamanders is armed with an ornate bolt rifle inspired by a design in Codex Supplement: Salamanders. His markings show that he belongs to the second squad of Second Company, and like the Imperial Fists figure, he comes with a combat knife and a variety of hands to hold the weapons in. Just keep him away from candles – you know what Salamanders are like with fire.
Both action figures stand an impressive 8” tall and are massively poseable, with 53 points of articulation – each leg alone has 12! You’ll be able to have them standing any way you please… if you take them out of the box, that is!
I want them! How do I get them?
You can pre-order both the Imperial Fists and Salamanders figures from Saturday the 12th of September. They’ll be available to order for one week and delivered into your eager hands next year after being made to order by Bandai. Don’t worry about us selling out – everyone who orders a figure will get one. There’s no way the Imperial Fists would be found derelict in their duty, after all!

Witzig: Die Bolts im Magazin des Imperial Fists Marine scheinen größer im Kaliber/Durchmesser als die mikrigen Granaten für den Aufsatz… ^^

Hm ich hätte mich über einen Blood Angel oder Space Wolf mehr gefreut.🤔
Die Figuren sehen großartig aus, keine Frage aber irgendwie sind mir die Figuren zu generisch.
Ich bleibe bei Mcfarlane Toys.
Wäre es denn so schlimm gewesen denen einen unbehelmten Kopf zu geben…
Wie jetzt? Der Salamander hat weder Melter noch Flamer? 😭
Also ich bin ja bekennender Bandai-Fan und habe inzwischen Hunderte verschiedener Gundam-kits daheim rumstehen und natürlich auch den Schlumpfmarine vom letzten Jahr, wäre also genau die Zielgruppe.
Aber mich schrecken diese Promofotos doch sehr ab. Die Bemalung ist dermaßen unprofessionell, der rote Brustadler ist zb an den Kanten mit gelb übermalt, die Schädel auf dem Salamanders Bolter sind einfach nur ein Klecks Farbsuppe, die Flammen ebenso unsaubere Kanten und beim anlegenden Imperial Fist sieht man sogar noch Nubs am Unterarm und Unsauberheiten am Handschutz. Das Panel Lining, was sonst immer auch bei bemalten Promobilder dabei ist, ist hier anscheinend vergessen worden. Wären das Promobilder für den neusten Gundam Bausatz, würde Bandai dafür sehr viel Kritik einstecken müssen. Oder vielleicht steckt ja hinter der Amateurhaftigkeit der Versuch, westlicher zu wirken. Wer weiß, mich spricht es jedenfalls gar nicht an. Bevor ich die kaufe, müssen erstmal bessere Bilder her.
Sehe ich das richtig? 3 kaufbare Modelle, 3x die gleiche Figur nur jeweils mit einer anderen Waffe und Farbe?
Hätte mich über einen Tau Feuerkrieger sehr gefreut. Hoffe da kommen noch einige Xenos Rassen.
Hätte nicht gedacht, dass mich Actionfiguren von SM sogar mäßig interessieren könnten – schon gar nicht 40K-Sigmarines… 🙃
Hier wäre mal ein Bau-Kit super!
Rüstung zusammenstellen & individualisieren, Waffen wählen, eigenen Orden umsetzen – und ein Bankett für detaillierte Bemalung sowie kreative Malstile!
Auch wäre eine vorgefertigte Möglichkeit für z.B CSM schön.
Natürlich sieht man ihnen die Natur als Actionfigur an. Allein schon an der Hüfte (die ja schon beim Original immer wieder ein schwächelt). Was o.k ist, wenn man es eben als solch eine Darstellung nimmt.
Was kostet sowas denn üblicherweise?
Vorbestellung war 100 USD oder 75 GBP.
