Watchdog: Tabletop World Painting Competition

Tabletop World haben Bilder der Gewinner ihres jährlichen Malwettbewerbs veröffentlicht. Uns ist das einen Watchdog wert!

Thank you guys once again for participating in our sixth Annual Painting Competition! 🙂 This year we had many awesome entries and choosing the top three in each category was really hard.

First place in Best Diorama category goes to Simone Pohlenz (UK) and his “The Hollow Rock Lighthouse” Diorama. Simone combined and converted multiple kits to create this amazing display piece and then finished it with perfect paintjob! Diorama is well thought out, packed with details and has great composition.

Second place in Diorama category goes to Paul Capon (UK) and his „Steindorf“. A beautiful city scene full of life. We love how it tells the story. 🙂 Awesome paintjob and just the right amount of details that spice up the scene.

Third place goes to Dany Gotti (FRANCE) and her „La Vieille Scierie“ diorama. Wonderful lively village scene featuring old watermill and working villagers. Great paintjob and attention to details. The natural features around the mill look very realistic and take it to another level!

In Single model category the first place goes to Nana Kronmark (Cabanaminis) (DENMARK) and her “The Merchant Family”. Nana’s work is so full of character! We really love her style. Her paintjob is very clean, colorful and precise. What we especially love about her work is the ambiance of the interior! It’s somehow warm and makes you wanna live there. 🙂

Second place in Single model category goes to Jurek Krzyzanowski (POLAND) and his Cottage. This little piece is a real eye candy! Outstanding paintjob, truly a PRO level! This is the first time that we see NMM technique used on our model. Looks fantastic!

Third place in the Single model category goes to Daniel Dick (USA) and his Coaching Inn. We really like the paintjob and the atmosphere of the piece! Right choice of colors gives the feel of serene evening in the medieval village.
