The Watcher Kickstarter
Von Ouroboros Miniatures gibt es zurzeit einen Kickstarter für zwei Beobachter.
“Children will always be afraid of the dark, and men with minds sensitive to hereditary impulse will always tremble at the thought of the hidden and fathomless worlds of strange life which may pulsate in the gulfs beyond the stars, or press hideously upon our own globe in unholy dimensions which only the dead and the moonstruck can glimpse.”
― H. P. Lovecraft
Welcome to our twelfth campaign here on Kickstarter. This time featuring, The Watcher. The Watcher is a relatively big kit for us and I’ve been keen on doing for a while now! It is loosely inspired by the Lovecrafth mythos but as usual, designed in our own way and vision. Me and Daniel Ciorba had a blast designing it and we hope the fruits or our labour appeal to you as well.
“For aeons, he has been watching our every move. Observing, studying and gathering information. Ever plotting and designing grand schemes of unfathomable proportions, which us mere mortal man could never comprehend. All this for his master, who is from beyond space and time and comprised of physical material that does not originate from within our universe. What sort of being the Watcher once was we will never know. Over the millennia he has slowly started to transform into the visage of his unholy master itself…“
We have a bunch of cool stretch goals planned which will really add to the atmosphere of the kit. We hope you’ll like what you see and the things to come and help us fund the production of this kit. 🙂
The Watcher is quite a large piece. Even sitting down he measures roughly 79mm!
The Observer
The Observer variant was first meant as a stretch goal but we decided to make him into his own kit. Basically the same parts and body as the Watcher, but with a set of robotic arms and a hooded head!
We quite like this version too and just in case you were on the fence because the Cthulhuesque look isn’t your thing (*shock!* 😛 ), then maybe this one is!
Die verschiedenen Pledges:
Und das erste verfügbare Stretch Goal:
We have a number of cool stretch goals planned which will add extra stuff to the Watcher kit. We do like them lot and hope you do too!
If we unlock this stretch goal, all pledges will receive this base. It measures 114,4mm in diameter and is 5.7mm thick!
Und zuletzt der Versand:
Shipping will be charged for during the Kickstarter. For all pledges it is €10,- which includes tracking, signed for delivery and insurance.
We have set the delivery date for March 2020. Casting will begin once the campaign is over and only if we have funded. We believe that this is a realistic date after speaking things through with our caster.
The company who handles our shipping proved eleven times already that they do a good job. We have every faith we can deliver on time as we have become quite good at organising and packing. We don’t think there will be a delay in packages going out to backers but would just like to add that delays can happen. Once the shipping company has your parcels, it is out of our control. However we will do everything possible again to fulfill this Kickstarter on time.
Packages can take anywhere from 4-28 (or sometimes even longer!) days to arrive. So please give it some time when we have announced that the packages have been shipped.
Please note that we are not responsible for any customs or other fees that might occur. We do not ship to P.O. boxes!
Miniatures come unpainted and need assembly and some cleaning. They are not toys and might take some expertise to put together.
