New! Pavlov Grenadier Regiment.
We are producing two variant options for this famous regiment. One full metal and the other metal heads for the plastic Russian Infantry (RN 20). The regiment had three battalions, although it was probably only after 1813 when it was awarded guard status that they were all deployed together. Each battalion was made up of three fusilier companies and one grenadier company. Three quarters of the regiment, therefore, would be wearing the shorter fusilier mitre rather than the tall grenadier mitre. Officers didn’t wear the mitre until 1828, so if you are using the plastic Russian command (either from the plastic set or separate frame B 28) use the peaked cap option for the officer. Each of the three fusilier companies per battalion had a standard. There was also a Life standard awarded to the regiment too.
