This Nickstarter pre-order program from North Star allows you to get the miniature figurines you need to join in the table-top campaign. North Star have also expanded theFrostgrave Wizard range with a set of plastic female wizards allowing you to take an all-female warband into Frostgrave for the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions. What is a Nickstarter?A Nickstarter is our silly name for the pre-order programs we run for our new figures. It isn’t crowd-funding, the figures are made, everyone will get what they ordered in quick time after the end of the Nickstarter. If you order one or more of the deals, the amount you spend goes into the ‘Spend Total’ When that ‘Spend Total’ hits various goals, it releases free stuff and prizes for all qualifying participants. For example, if you buy a deal 2, your £44 will be added to the Spend Total, and when it hits £1500, it releases a free Cauldron and Broom for each customer, and so on. The Spend Goal rewards are limited to one per customer, not per deal bought.

There are many tales of the Frozen City, and not all of them tell of battles between rival wizards. Often, the greatest adventures are those that pit a wizard and his trusty warband against the myriad perils found amidst the ruins of Felstad.

This new supplement for Frostgrave presents full rules for playing solo and co-operative games in which feuds and skirmishes of wizards take a back seat to the exploration and unlocking of the mysteries of the city. These include guidelines for both dungeon crawls and adventuring in the ruins, new traps, unique random encounters, and four multi- scenario mini-campaigns to get players started. Why should wizards fight amongst themselves? There is plenty of treasure for all and the Frozen City is enemy enough!

Frostgrave Wizards II – 15,00£

Whether they come in pursuit of forgotten lore, ancient mysteries, or more mundane treasures, wizards and their apprentices flock to the ruins of Felstad like crows to carrion. Something about the ancient city calls to them, and few can resist its lure. For all their spells and power, fewer still survive its perils…

The new ‚all female‘ Frostgrave Wizards II plastic box set. With just as many head, arm and equipment variants as Wizards I, no two Frostgrave Wizards need ever look the same again. Figures designed by Bobby Jackson.

Borock – 8,00£

A horrific amalgam of gnoll and minotaur, Borock’s size and power quickly established him as alpha in his gnoll tribe. 

One model per pack. Designed to be used with 28mm sized figures. Metal miniature, supplied unpainted. Needs assembling using glue.

Ballista II Construct – 8,00£

The Ballista II was one of the most popular construct models produced by the infamous Kregian Armour Works. It combined the durability and hitting power of a standard large construct with long-range firepower. The Ballista II’s ammunition supply was limited, however, and it was thus far less common to find it fielded in pitched battles than providing security for some of Felstad’s most wealthy establishments.

Vapour Snakes – 6,00£

In the annals of ancient Felstad there are occasional mentions of vapour snakes. These strange, smoky entities sometimes formed as the result of the mystical refinement process of the alchemical fuel used for much of the city’s lighting and heating. Why these creatures look so much like actual snakes is anyone’s guess. While the cataclysm brought an end to this alchemical refinement, damage to the various processing workshops may still sometimes causes the spontaneous generation of a vapour snake.

Pack contains three models. One large Vapour Snake and two small Vapour Snakes.

Chronohounds – 6,00£

The strange creatures known as chronohounds are only rarely seen in the Frozen City as they can move through time the way other creatures can move through the three-dimensional space. Due to this ability, chronohounds are practically immortal, moving to a different point in time if they are ever close to death. Thankfully, they rarely remain in any one time for very long, unless there is some focus point, usually time crystals, that draws them in. Chronohounds resemble large, lean, and hairless hounds. They have long tongues that loll out of their mouths, and they are constantly salivating. Beyond aggressive, they seem to relish violence, and will usually attack strangers on sight… which tends to mean that everyone they meet is a stranger…

Magmites & Hell Crows – 6,00£

The turmoil of volcanic activity is often enough to crack the barriers between planes. Usually this isn’t a problem as most demons cannot survive the heat and destructive potential of lava or magma. The little demons known as magmites, however, seem to thrive in it. Standing about 3’ tall, and appearing in a variety of physical forms, they move freely through lava, and seem almost immune to elemental fire.

Hellcrows are not one specific type of demon, but a generic term used by the explorers of Frostgrave to describe any of the small, winged imps that vaguely resemble birds. These demons sometimes look practically identical to birds, with a spark of malevolent intelligence in their eyes being the only sign of their true heritage, while other times they bear more obvious marks – multiple heads, extra wings, tentacles, horns… Regardless of their physical appearance, hellcrows prefer to dive on their prey, seeking to kill with quick strikes and acidic bile.
