Left at the Bottom of the Garden: Kickstarter läuft

Ein knuffiger Kickstarter kommt von Statuesque Miniatures.

Left at the Bottom of the Garden is a project to fund the production of nine high quality, lead-free metal miniatures, each depicting a lost toy. Help me begin to tell their story in miniature form as the toys set off on their journey through the dark and twisted woods.

As the owner and sculptor of Statuesque Miniatures, I’ve produced many miniatures over the years. However, these figures are something quite different in style and purpose from my usual work and that’s why I’ve come to Kickstarter to help reach as many people as possible. With your help, I can get production rolling and the toys can venture out into the world.

The Miniatures

Measuring approximately 14mm to 32mm tall, the Left at the Bottom of the Garden miniatures represent a motley collection of abandoned or lost toys. I sculpted the miniatures with tabletop gaming, painting and collecting in mind. In particular, I wanted them to be nice little objects in themselves, needing no glue, no assembly beyond normal casting clean-up and no plastic bases. They have bold, chunky details meaning they can be easily painted or finished however you wish.

All photos show production castings of the miniatures (albeit prepped and given a coat of boot polish to bring out the details), so if the Kickstarter is successful I’ll be ready to start casting your miniatures immediately. There won’t be any stretch goals or additional items added during the course of the campaign – I don’t want anything to delay fulfilment.

Please note, due to their small size the Left at the Bottom of the Garden miniatures are not intended for small children.

The Pledges

Below you can see each of the pledge levels available. With the exception of the Fancy Toys reward, all miniatures are supplied in bare metal state.

The complete set of nine Left at the Bottom of the Garden miniatures, cast in high quality, lead-free metal and hand finished by me to match the display miniatures seen in the campaign photos on this page. This will involve the removal of any casting artefacts, a light buffing, ageing with boot polish to bring out the details and a coat of lacquer.

Additional sets of miniatures can be chosen from the Add On list below. Simply add the total cost for those sets to the pledge level. Details of your choices will be taken after the campaign. Please note, any additional miniatures added to this pledge will NOT be hand finished and will be supplied in a bare metal state.

This pledge level is limited to 10 backers.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs will be collected after the Kickstarter ends – do not include shipping costs in your pledge amount.

The shipping costs will follow the usual Statuesque Miniatures Flat Rate shipping costs based on the Royal Mail’s World Zones. Full details of the shipping costs can be seen HERE on the Statuesque website but below is a summary:

•  United Kingdom – £2.50
•  Europe – £4 standard mail or £8.75 tracked
•  World Zone 1 (including USA) – £5 standard mail or £9.50 tracked
•  World Zone 2 (including Aus and NZ) – £5.30 standard mail or £9.80 tracked

Pledges over £50 will be sent by tracked mail where available for the standard mail shipping cost.
