Viel Neues gibt es beim Kickstarter nicht (die Boxen mit Metallminis werden wohl zunehmend verkauft), aber für 2 Updates reicht es.

Confrontation Resurrection will be the second step in the great return of Confrontation. This will be a new line of miniatures, along with a brand-new ruleset made just for them, coming in 2020! Many playtests of Confrontation Resurrection are underway by teams based in France, Belgium, and Québec. We’d like to take a moment here to extend to all of these players our deepest thanks for their welcoming, their passion for Confrontation, and the time they spend testing the rules of Confrontation Resurrection!

Thanks to their feedback, the beta rules have just moved on to V2. These teams continue to test various points and approaches in order to finalize what the official rules will be. As soon as the project team and the testers believe that these betas are sufficiently far along, we’ll schedule the opening of the Field Test. This will be the large-scale test to which all backers of Confrontation Classic will have access.

We’ll then give you the delicate mission of discovering and testing in turn Confrontation Resurrection! Let’s lift the veil a bit on an innovation of the new system. The rules of Confrontation Resurrection introduce a new game element, closely linked to the issue of the Rag’Narok: The Essence…

It’s with great pleasure that we can now favorably answer the demand of players and collectors, by offering you 21 faction sets of Confrontation Classic in metal miniatures. This distribution better answers the expectations of the fans, and thus also fills a demand from distributors with whom we are in contact. It’s in this form that the factions will be available in stores.

These 21 faction sets are all comprised of models from the Celebration Box. But the strength of each box has been balanced to be even enough that any two boxes should be an even battle using the Confrontation rules:

Drunes Kelts – Alahan – Mid Nor Dwarves – Wolfen – Daikinees – Undead – Tir Na Bor Dwarves – Ophidians – Cynwalls – Griffins – Devourers – Cadwallon – Sessairs Kelt – Dirz – Goblins – Orcs – Light Immortals – Destiny Immortals – Dark Immortals – Mid Nor Clan – Uraken Clan. 

The last metal Celebration Boxes

There are roughly fifty metal Celebration boxes remaining at the price of 499 euros, taxes included (about $562). There were originally 500 boxes, available at that price until July 31st at midnight.

The metal Celebration Box will no longer be offered after this remaining stock sells out or after July 31st. This single box gathers models from all factions, which represents a total value of 1452,90 € (about $1655).

And to be clear: with the availability of these 21 faction sets, the Gaming Selections will no longer be offered. But you can find their contents among the 21 faction sets.
