AntiMatter: 2-Spieler Starter Previews
Für die beiden kommenden 2-Spieler Boxen für ShadowSea und DeepWars haben AntiMatter Games auf Facebook die Cover der Regelbücher enthüllt.
Coming soon for a July release, the two-player starter sets for DeepWars and ShadowSea. Here are the cover art for both of their rulebooks that will come in the sets. The books will include rules to play and a full 8-battle campaign. The sets include printed maps, miniatures and dice, so they will have everything needed to get started.
Here are the two Leader miniatures for the DeepWars 2-player starter set, Lucius Cromwell for the Fortune Hunters and Cylla Darkmyre for the Dark Mariners. They are cast in resin and will come complete with their game cards.
Here is the resin casting for the Corrupted Nereid Witch, a boss enemy in the Stygian Depths supplement for ShadowSea. She is amphibious and can also be used in DeepWars for the Nereid force.
Here are the two Gray Whaler Sharks that come in the DeepWars 2-player starter set. They are predatory wild sea creatures that will hunt down weak, wounded or fleeing models from both warbands.
Here are the two Ripperclaw Lizards that are wild creatures in the ShadowSea 2-player starter set. They are predatory pack hunters that track down both warbands.

Ein kleines Juwel dieses Spiel. Auch ohne es je gespielt zu haben. Die Figuren gibt es seit Jahren bemalt (und zu kaufen) in einem Berliner TT Laden.
Schön, dass sich das Spiel mit dem speziellen Setting so lange gehalten hat. Muss was dran sein.
Die Raptoren könnte man ja auch für andere Spiele gut gebrauchen.
Ja, da sind einige nette Sachen dabei. Ein solches Set könnte es schwerer machen dem Spiel und den Minis langfristig zu widerstehen. Mal sehen…
Tiere haben die absolut fantastisch drauf! Von deren feinen Spiel mit Proportionen können sich so einige renomierte Schmieden noch gut was abschneiden.
Leider vermisse ich das oft bei deren „humanoiden“ Figuren. Thematisch total toll, Illus oft auch ziemlich cool, aber bei vielen Sculpts fehlt mir das „bäm!“-Gefühl… Wieso nicht die ganze Reihe so fein proportioniert gestalten? Das böte sich doch gerade bei dem Ozean-Thema super an und so fantastische Figuren in sehr realistischer Darstellung gibt es auch sonst quasi gar nicht.
Aber ich bin auch Aun Jans Auffassung: AntiMatter ist mir sehr sympathisch. Schön, dass sich Deep Wars / Shadow Sea weiterhin hält. Wünsche ihnen noch viel Zulauf!
