Wave 2 Drawing Closer, plus Gameplay Videos!

We hope you are enjoying your Wave 1 Rewards. Peter and I are really excited to be seeing games of Twisted being played, and lots of miniatures painted. Thank you for all the feedback we’ve received – it’s great to hear that you are pleased with what we’ve produced!

Wave 2 Progress:

It’s been a while since our last update, so it is high time we let you know how things are progressing for Wave 2.

Thank you all for being so patient with us. We know it is taking a lot of time to fulfil Wave 2. We are working as hard as we can, but Twisted is just 2 of us (Peter an I!) and there is a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into preparing new miniatures for release.

The good news is that all the Wave 2 miniatures are in production.

Twisted metal miniatures are produced by Eureka Miniatures here in Australia, who I honestly believe it one of the best metal casters in the world – the quality is absolutely superb, as I’m sure you agree after seeing Wave 1.

Twisted resin miniatures are produced by Valiant in the USA and Magos Miniatures here in Australia, who both produce the highest quality in resin casting – the quality keeps getting better and better, some of the new miniatures are absolutely amazing!

What happens now?

Once the casting is nearing completion (it’s a big job!), we can start packing the miniatures into Faction boxes and blister packs. At the same time, Peter is finalising the rules for all the Wave 2 miniatures so that the Character and Activation cards will be ready for all the new Wave 2 miniatures, so that you can begin playing right away. There will be a new digital rulebook covering the Egyptians – the Scions of Set!

Once packing is under way, we’ll be able to give a better estimate on shipping date for Wave 2. As soon as we’re more sure of dates, we’ll let you know – we want to be able to give you a more firm date that we can stick to.

Re-Opening the Twisted Pledge Manager:

When we are getting close to Wave 2 shipping, we’ll re-open the Twisted Pledge Manager giving you the chance to add any extra items you like to your Rewards! You can also check/update your shipping details.

As a reward to our Kickstarter backers, any extra Add-Ons you choose will come at a special discount price.

Remember that if you’re due to receive Wave 2 miniatures – and you already paid for Wave 1 shipping – then your Wave 2 shipping is FREE, even if you add more stuff! So you can add whatever else you like to your rewards at no extra shipping cost. MAJOR BONUS!!!
