„WAYNE MANOR

Wayne Manor is Batman’s family home. His paternal lineage has persisted at this site for centuries, although the present construction dates „only“ from the 1800s. It is the current home of Bruce Wayne, his son Damian and their butler Alfred. Beyond its austere look, the residence is noteworthy in many ways. It is known to fans as the visible facade that hides the Batcave in its basement. But even the surrounding area of the house hides a sophisticated defense system. For example, the lawn can electrify attackers. It also features a network of underground passages that lead from one end of the property to the other.

The history of the mansion is not exclusive to the Waynes and Batman, however. At times Bruce was forced to abandon the place to focus on the Wayne Foundation, a building in Gotham that also hides another Batcave. The Wayne Manor, left unattended, became the hideout of threats such as Ubu (Ra’s Al Ghul’s henchman), Gentleman Ghost or Man-Bat, forcing Batman to intervene. These events have given the place the reputation of being haunted.

After Arkham Asylum was destroyed, Bruce Wayne realized that Gotham City still needed a place to lock up mentally ill and violent criminals. He donated the manor to the city to open a new asylum. During this brief period, the house was renamed the Arkham Manor. The worst among Batman’s rogue gallery found themselves locked up just above the Batcave without even realizing it. More recently, this period came to an end and Bruce Wayne reclaimed his home.“

„DEATHSTROKE

Slade Wilson is the product of the army’s attempts to create a super-soldier. These experiments gave him the ability to access and use dormant areas of the human brain, enhancing his reflexes and speed. But the procedure also altered his mind, amplifying his violent urges. Instead of creating the perfect soldier, the experiment made him an ultra-dangerous assassin, well-versed in the use of myriad weapons (his weapon of choice is the sword, but can also act as a sniper.) These destructive inclinations also cost him his family. During a heated argument, his wife wounded him, resulting in the loss of an eye. Though Wilson, now named Deathstroke, lost an eye, he lost none of his lethality.

As a mercenary, Wilson offers his services to the highest bidder. He is also forced to work from time to time with the Suicide Squad.
Deathstroke can even fight super-powered opponents. He’s been known to take on the entire Justice League and prevail. Simply put, he is one of the most capable characters in the DC universe.

He was originally an opponent of the Teen Titans but quickly became one of the most dangerous assassins in the DC universe. Deathstroke has a personal hatred for Nightwing (Dick Grayson, formerly Robin), whom he has repeatedly tried to kill or subvert. Logically, this hatred also extends to the other characters of the Bat-Family but it seems he’s just on a mission to disrupt Gotham (sometimes used by other villains). This makes him a regular and brutal opponent of Batman.“
