Mierce Miniatures: Neuheiten im November
Mierce Miniaturen haben einen Schwung an Neuheiten für den November veröffentlicht.
Tor I Italus, Auxilia Ballistarius Tormentum – 59,99 GBP
The Byzantii, being the remnants of the Romans, have access to technology only the Atalantes could match. The incredibly powerful Tor I Italus ballista – built to destroy fortresses and monsters both – use a variety of different armaments from bolts to lead shot to rocks, but they all come really keen if you get in the way. Sculpted by Bob Płociennik from the artwork by Roberto Cirillo, you get the ballista itself, four crew including a magister and a variety of accessories and armaments for every circumstance.
Goraakk The Ripper, Great Cleaver Gabrax Gore-Horn On Hoof – 14,99 GBP
Goraakk is perhaps the most infamous of all the beast-men to have disgraced the lands of men. He is a killer beyond comparison: bloodthirsty and brutal, a ripper of flesh and a taker of heads: but that is not the entire tale of his renown, for his battle-skills are shrewd, his leadership cunning, his authority without question, so much so that his name is oft whispered in the same breath as the Eye himself. When a host is led by Goraakk its enemies know they must counter not just the cruelty and savagery of his warriors; they must also counter the animal intelligence behind them.
The Cursed Rock, Darkstone – 19,99 GBP
The darkstones of the Gabrax fulfil many roles in the minds of such bestial half-men, not the least of which is the reason for their being: for it is the focal point of their herd, the stone their master has blessed with his own hand and upon which each and every beast-man pledges both his allegiance and his strength. Without it a herd would break apart and its flock would scatter, directionless and purposeless, until they either died or suffered the ignominy of joining another herd. With it a herd is powerful and strong, its flock filled with aspiration and desire and loyalty, a potent lure for the largest of the herd-beasts and a mighty asset to the armies of the Eye in the Ice. The Cursed Rock is perhaps the most infamous of these darkstones, so named for the curses laid upon it by those sacrificed to its glory or by those who fear its power: and as its renown grows so too does the wickedness of its herd.
Garric, Jute Fain Bearer – 14,99 GBP
Garrics life is devoted to the lord Eormanræd: to his honour, to his renown, to his campaigns. Garric bears his banner, fights for him, commands for him, for he is a noble in his own right, and so brings his warriors to battle whenever his lord wishes it. Yet his devotion is to a deeper cause, to the cause his lord embraces, to the survival of his people and their lands. For are not the Jutes the first who dared to sail, the first to believe in their right to abide, the first to make peace in the new lands, even in the face of such enmity? To some, the Jutes are an abomination. To Garric, the Jutes are the guarantee of a way of life the followers of the nailed god could not even hope to understand.
THRADA, CAVERN NIHTBAT – 39,99 GBP
The lows and the downs and the cliffs of the Jutish kingdom are home to a great number of creatures that defy belief, creatures that crawl and stalk and writhe and slither: and whilst many fly, few evince the terror the bats of the night unleash. They come unseen and unheard from the caverns and caves, gorges and defiles, selecting their prey with sound alone, prey as big as a horse: for the largest among them have strength enough. Over time, not least to save their own people, these night creatures have found their way into the hosts of the Jutes, for they have ever been masters of beasts and in battle the night-bats have rewards enough to ensure their kin endure and the unwary enemies of their human allies destroyed.
Firekin, Szalamandra Unit – 59,99 GBP
The Szlamandres, terrible and destructive, are hated and feared by the enemies of the Khthones to such a degree that mere word of their presence is enough to weaken both bladders and the determination of their owners. The wise general will thus protect these fire-spitting creatures as far as he possibly can, for each Szalamandra is both worth its weight in gold and the target of as much as the enemy can bring to bear: for a single gobbet of the fire contrived from a Szalamandra’s throat is enough to scatter scores of men and beasts in blind panic. Once that fire takes hold it cannot be doused, and its victims perish as they scream in agony, cursing these brutal, unforgiving creatures for a death none would wish upon their worst foes.
