Jungle Fever! Includes a full expansion to our successful Blood Ball Pitch scenery Kickstarter. Featuring resin cast models and a host of themed printable 3D files all OpenLock compatible.

We’ve designed and hand-crafted a complete new stadium scenery set for this expansion. The scenery is compatible with the new(2016) and old ‚Blood Ball‘ pitch sizes. These sets are molded in high detail resin and include multiple modular components which are easily assembled / disassembled with the OpenLOCK system.

Risiken und Herausforderungen

We have already created all the designs and master models for the project. We still have to machine the molds and run the production. As far as the printable files go, we have all the high resolution files available, We have a lot of experience in this field and this should pose no problem at all.

DIGITAL MEDIA:
We will break down all the models into smaller files and were possible we will create high and lower resolution models so that backers can choose the level of detail which fits their print system best.

We strive to produce models that will print with as little support and parts as possible. Some models print in one go whilst most are split up into parts which must be printed separately and then assembled. All models will be packed with their respective parts list and assembly instructions.

The file format of choice will be .STL and the models shall be zipped and made available to the user for download.

Backers must realize that the resolution you obtain on your print is down to the system you use. Our high resolution files will give you almost render quality prints on high end SLA machines, whilst the same files will produce lesser resolution prints on standard FDM printers. At any rate, all the files have been tested on SLA and FDM printers and show satisfactory produce.

We recommend FDM Prints with at least a 400micron nozzle and 30 micron layer height. Ideally 270micron with 10micron layer height will give you outstanding prints all round. We have also tested the files with larger nozzles, at 500 microns and decent results are possible on most prints, if the layer height and temperature is controlled correctly.

SLA printers should have no problems obtaining excellent resolution and finish even at 100 micron layer height although 50 micron layer height is recommended for minute sculpt detail clarity.

SCULPTED RESIN CAST PHYSICAL MODELS:
Backers have to take understand that this product is essentially hand crafted. The products go through a machine process where the parts are molded, but then each piece is reviewed and modified were needed by our craftsmen. We file away burs, assemble parts and make sure each part meets our quality standard. The fact that the parts are finished by hand means that there might be slight variations between parts which are a reflection of the artisanal work which makes each model unique. Although this is true, all measurements are kept to less than a 1mm precision tolerance were needed to slot or fit.

The parts come unpainted although some parts require a finishing coat of acrylic to homogenize and protect the assembled product. This protection coat serves for a better visual finish of the product and in no way will affect the application of future paint works by the user, on the contrary, it will help and aid as a primer increasing adhesion and protecting the surface.

Models will be cast in grey pigmented resin as default, which is a nice neutral colour to paint on. Some parts may show very slight variations of this grey according to the process the particular part has undergone.

In some circumstances, it will be possible to match the resin colour to other hues other than the default grey. For example, wood coloured objects, such as barrels may be presented in brown pigment to reflect the wood material they are trying to simulate as a model. We will try to do this if and where possible,
