Infinity: Rebots & Rasyat Previews

Es ist eine Zeit der Resculpts in Corvus Bellis‘ Infinity, Rebots für Aleph und Rasyat für die Combined Army.

CB INF ALEPH Rebots Prev01

Here’s a little more about these funky Rebots that might be…just a tad…inspired by something called Ghost In The Shell?

„Rebot is the acronym for Remote Robot. They are versatile devices able to complete a wide variety of combat tasks depending on the equipment they are installed with. The Special Situations Section loves to deploy large numbers of these small autonomous units throughout the battlefield.

They are like a small plague that spreads the chaos and confusion necessary for the rest of the attack forces to be able to reach their objectives. Designation of the different Remote models that make up the Rebots are based on ALEPH Bet, the Hebrew alphabet. Monitoring and surveillance Rebots receive the codename Daleth.

The letter Zayin, meaning “Weapon”, has served to baptize ALEPH’s offensive-defensive artillery Rebots. SSS mobile artillery platforms are based on the standard Rebot model but are equipped with smart warhead missile systems and a reinforced link to combat monitoring networks.

Their firepower and destructive capabilities are such that they have received the name Samekh Rebots; this letter means “Support Giver” or “Trust”. Lamedh Rebots for their part, are small, lightweight, and very fast units in charge of vanguard support tasks in advanced info-war scenarios.“

The set will feature two miniatures which can be assembled in four different ways so you have plenty of Options!

RASYAT DIPLOMATIC DIVISION

Contact with the Combined Civilization generated a series of changes in the culture and society of the Morat Supremacy. A diplomatic service suddenly became necessary. This used to be something completely useless to Morats because they had their Aggressive Forces to fulfill these types of tasks. Old soldiers protested bitterly: diplomats belonged to weak, inferior races. With the creation of a diplomatic division the ridiculous signal was being conveyed that the Supremacy was becoming soft again. They were becoming a race of whining puppies like all other species they had subdued in the past. This simple fact would tarnish their prestige and reputation of relentlessness that dated back centuries. To avoid anything like this from happening the Rasyatnats, the Diplomatic Division, were formed to be a new unit within the Morat Aggression Forces. This division would be considered an elite unit despite its lack of history. Only the toughest, rowdiest, most dangerous, xenophobic Gesurats could become diplomats and belong to the Rasyatnats. Their basic operating protocol is based on activities that penetrate into the heart of the enemy to learn more and sound out their weaknesses through fistfights. Training the members of this unit has received since its founding stresses aggressiveness and generating extreme violence through constant combat. The Diplomatic Division gained so much prestige that all Morat regiments soon competed in Sotaraks so their representatives could form part of the Supremacy’s aggressive diplomatic service. Rasyatnats represent the purest embodiment of the Morat philosophy applied directly: “The biggest weapon is always the winner of any negotiation.” Diplomacy provided in high-impact waves.
