It’s Friday so we have bunch of news from Human Interface world. First of all something most important for you guys – the schedule. The production of models for Cyberpsycho Edition pledge as well as other metal minis is ongoing. We have a very experienced contractor so we can be sure that the quality will be top notch. And after some changes in the design we can tell you that the final result will be even better than we expected. As always no compromises.

We want to provide the same quality for PVC and paper components of the game. We’ve chosen a producer who also have vast expertise in games production. But it has one downside… the schedule. We have to fit into tight timelines and it will cause some delay in delivery. Despite the great success of our Human Interface series we are still too small to dictate terms. As you know the production in PVC has some restrictions. We had to do some changes according to PVC production requirements (especially for preparing Tools the most expensive and time consuming process) and it took us more time than we had assumed. But be sure that the quality will be the same as in other leading games on the market plus we will give you an additional plastic tray for minis. The Blood on the Floor supplement will have separate box as well as plastic tray for miniatures. All KS stretch goals will come in separate box.

According to our plans the production will be closed at the turn of June and July. The final product will be in our warehouse at the beginning of August. Due to the holiday season and our former experience with dispatching parcels at the same time of year we will start the delivery in September to avoid the return of parcels in cases when our backers are away from homes.

This time we will use the third party logistics company and we are sure it will take less time to dispatch all the boxes.

The time we have before the production starts will be used to polish the language and to fine tuning some details. Of course we will keep you posted.

There were some questions on the look of Buzz’es landing gear. So take a look at the finished model. It will be a little bigger. We also added some details like ammo belts. Shown miniatures for scale purpose only.

And take a look at one of our last models Morgan the Black.

And as a cherry on the cake we give you some photos of Angel Giraldez. Enjoy.

As always our master Giraldez surprised us all and painted another minis U-Bolt and Romper Stomper from HI:BaBH. We are speechless! These are real masterpieces!

Some of you asked when The Pledge Manager will be closed. Primarily we planned the closure for the turn of February and March. But now we postponed it till the 30th of April. This is final term. On that day system will block your baskets and will finalize the payments. Of course we will send you reminder prior to that

Today’s will be slightly different than usual. We are starting a series of posts on rules in general and also on changes that we’ve introduced in comparison to HINT. This section we’ve named HINTPEDIA but before we start talking about the rules, let’s focus on some organisational stuff.

There is only one model left for us to prepare and it is Kamakiri K1. Currently we are working on it once again. We didn’t like the former version as much as we wanted so we let it go. We hope that next week we’ll be able to show you the final version. In the comments’ section there were questions on how many K1 models will be used in Human Interface plays. We would like to tell you that the sky is the limit but the truth is you can do with just one. But of course we wouldn’t blame you for wanting more

AI mode, how the board plays on its own.

As you know the game in Human Interface is divided into several phases, in each of them the players take actions one after another. One of the phases is called AI OPERATIONS PHASE and in that one the game is controlling the characters and terminals on the board. Each of the elements is controlled by specific algorithms determining the moves and other actions. Let’s focus today on the algorithm of moves and attacks of the OPFOR forces. Unless otherwise specified OPFOR use two Action Points and only perform combinations of either Move-Move, Move-Attack or a single Attack Action. In HI:BaBH this protocol can be changed. Increasing Alarm level or some scenario events will trigger protocol changes. Special cards called Tactical Response will provide all necessary information for example card named ‘Harassing fire’ change protocal to: After a successful Ranged Attack action an OPFOR model can perform another Ranged Attack action this turn. It means more bullets in the air. Another one called ‘Pre-dawn raid’ allows to perform 2 Attack actions when enemy models (player character) are in LOS. Now OPFOR forces can put mines, use drugs or call for support. As you see OPFOR characters in game will behave in many different ways. This is the begining of changes.

And finally, our updates wouldn’t be completed without some pictures of works of our master Angel Giraldez. As always his talent just made us speechless. Mr. Morgan and Yamaguchi.

Some organisational stuff for the beginning. There were questions on how the models look when made of different materials: resin, PVC, metal. For the PVC prototypes we’ll have to wait a little bit longer but next update we’ll show you on pictures the quality of the rest of materials. In the meantime new model straight from the printer. Buzz’s prototype.

The CanDo cards, the random factor in game.

The play in Hint game depends on the characteristics of heroes, equipment or the situation the players may be placed into. In the situation when the player face a conflict, there is a need to draw a CanDo card, which will modify the base characteristics adequately to the level of difficulty of current task.

In previous HINT game CanDo cards add randomness to the game and have a value ranging from 1 to 10. There are 40 CanDo cards and there is an uneven distribution of numbers within the deck. During an opposed test against another character value is a comparison of the characteristic, modifiers and a drawn CanDo card. In a standard test compare your total value with relevant test value.

Now the CanDo cards are not only the random value from 1 to 10. On some of the cards you have the possibility for additional choice. It’s up to you how you want to play it. You can choose now.

So either you accept the reality and you stay with your cards or you try to figure out something new and you choose the bonus opportunity. It could be better or not.

We are a bunch of lucky guys, cause master Giraldez took his time to paint our models, we have few more pictures Mr. Hyena and Black Stone Commandos EXO’s operator Peterson. We’re sure you will love them.

Today we have some pictures for you. You wanted to see a comparison of models made of different materials. In the pictures below you can see a set of models made of resin, white metal and the final effect after the models were painted.

As we’ve mentioned before for the PVC samples we have to wait a little bit. Now we’re tweaking the models for the PVC production.

Let us remind you that at the end of April we are closing the late pledge as well as pledge manager. Afterwards you won’t be able to edit your pledge and your cards will be charged.

And finally new picture from Master Giraldez. Security drone ‚Shapu‘.
