Hate: Produktionsupdates
Coolminiornot haben auf Kickstarter ein Update ihres zur Produktion von HATE veröffentlicht.
Hail Savages!
We apologize for the long hiatus in updates. There hasn’t been much to report as the production kicked into gear and all the samples had already been shown.
In any case, we are pleased to report that production proceeds very well. Plastic pieces are being manufactured, and print materials are about to start being printed. Everything is looking good to be ready to ship out by the end of the year.
Now let’s take a look at some of the production samples we got recently:
First off, we got the plastic trays for the different Optional Buy boxes, including the extra tribes and the Mother Prophecy! Please note that the final ones will be more transparent than these early samples.
Plastic tray for the Tribe of Sarrassa optional buy.
Plastic tray for the Tribe of Um’Tull optional buy.
Plastic tray for the Tribe of Vore Nash optional buy.
Plastic tray for the Mother Prophecy optional buy.
And then we got the big one. And by big one we do mean BIG ONE! As you know, during the campaign we were able to unlock a lot of extra content for backers. Usually this means all this exclusive content goes into a separate box. However, with the entire HATE board game being exclusive, it meant we had the opportunity to put the ENTIRE content of the base Tyrant pledge into the HATE core box. And that’s exactly what we did. Behold a box-full of HATE:
HATE core box white sample next to a Zombicide: Green Horde box, for scale comparison.
Keep in mind this is just a white sample. Which means, it’s an early sample the factory sends us just to check the dimensions, quantities and material quality for the box and its contents. Nothing is printed yet. Of course in the end this will be a glorious black and red box, with the striking Adrian Smith artwork. With the box being so big, we asked the factory to make sure it’s extra sturdy so it can properly protect all the HATE inside.
Opening the box we see a bunch of its contents (but still only a fraction). The factory initially proposed this paper tray to hold the cards and tokens, but we have since decided this was not good enough for HATE. This will be replaced with a black plastic tray, containing 8 slots big enough to hold cards with sleeves. The cardboard separator on the bottom left of the box will also be replaced with a tray with a couple slots for the transparent Upgrade cards. This is more than enough to hold all cards and tokens in the game, but this way it will allow players to organize their stuff as they see fit.
Removing the tray and all the other print stuff (whole lot of punchboards, game boards, scenario dashboards, chronicle pads and rulebook) we find two large boxes holding the things you’re really craving for.
Miniature! (And not so miniatures.) A whopping 103 miniatures, all laid out on their trays, divided by tribes and by type. We’ll also make sure to print on the boxes guides with the layout of the trays, so you can easily put away all your figures without headache.
Finally, just a picture of all the plastic tokens that come in the HATE box. They just make for such a wonderfully gruesome pile…
Unleash your HATE!
