Virai Dronescourge mining support team with fractal DBC/frag borer – £12.00

The Virai Dronscourge repurpose the Boromite Fractal Frag Border and turn it into a devasting siege weapon, capable of tunnelling through almost anything!

This is an adaptation of the existing fractal and frag borer mining technology for a breaching and demolitions role. It is sometimes referred to by its full name, a Fractal Demolitions and Breaching Cannon or Fractal DBC, though Boromites tend to just refer to the weapon as ‘the Demolisher’. The Fractal Demolisher is occasionally used by specialist units in the C3, Senatex and Prosperate in place of a compression cannon, but is most likely to be found in Freeborn and Boromite urban and salvage forces.

Demolishers look identical to the existing Fractal Cannon or Frag Borers because they are merely adaptations of the existing weaponry. Internally, the alignment is significantly altered – the demolisher’s fractal resonance is deliberately focused at the very short ranges and high intensity required for demolition work. As a result, its use is limited on the battlefield, but its capabilities against stationary targets such as doors, buildings, walls and minefaces are much appreciated by its wielders. The resonance escalates rapidly, quickly disrupting the molecular structure of very close and shallow objects. However, such adaptations can affect the longevity of the equipment.

Virai Mining drones are specialised versions of Constructor drones. Typically placed under the command of, or escorting, lessor architectors such as Mining Supervisors. Mining squads are tasked with seeking out material, metals and minerals from underground or the collapsed depths of a ruined arcology.

Virai Dronescourge weapon drone with mag cannon – £10.00

The Virai Dronescourge arm their weapon drones with the destructive Mag Cannon!

The Virai are sometimes forced to build weapon drones for purely militaristic purposes, though even here they try to ensure the drones can be used in a non-military role.

Their weapon drones appear to be heavily modified and expanded warrior drones equipped with thrusters and a weapon mount, sometimes with the appendages retained. They are equipped with a flamer array which resembles little more than a number of fusion flamers bolted together into a single weapon.

Bolster your Isorian Senatex with these two new Phase-shift projectors.

The Phase-shift projector is a specifically Isorian field engineering weapon. It is based on the Isorian phase-shift technology used in their armour, phase rifle and other devices, and has not been able to be replicated outside an Isorian nanosphere.

Isorian Andhak SC2 Medium Support Drone Weapon Options: The support drone can be rearmed with a phase-shift projector instead of a plasma light support – 0 points (See page 84 The Dronescourge returns).

The phase-shift projector is typically fitted to the tough but flexible Andhak SC2 Medium drone as a weapon option but can also be seen in specialist weapon teams.
