Gates of Antares: Isorian Neuheiten
Warlord Games versorgen die Isorians mit einigen Neuheiten.
The Mahran Vesh type 5 Combat Drone, often abbreviated to MV5, is the standard large combat drone found in Isorian armies throughout Antarean space. As with all fighting drones in the Isorian arsenal, it is a fully sentient machine, lacking a human crew, and entirely capable of operating in a variety of combat environments.
The box contains:
- Multi-part resin model of Isorian Mahran Vesh MV5 armed with one plasma light support and a choice of plasma cannon, compression cannon, or fractal cannon.
- metal Isorian Spotter Drone
As with other larger drones, it is accompanied by its own buddy drones, including the universal spotter drones that act as the machine’s remote eyes and ears.
Weaponry can be adapted to suit the mission at hand, the most commonly fielded combination consisting of a plasma light support and plasma cannon. Fractal and compression weaponry is available for specialist tasks, such as close urban assaults and siege work. Motive power comes from suspensors and reaction thrusters.
The MV5 is well armoured with a composite protective shell and reactive kinetic shields that are able to shrug off most attacks. MVs in active combat roles are often fitted with phaseshift shielding – a type of armour unique to Isorian forces.

The Tograh is a type 2 variant of the Mahran Vesh combat drone fully adapted to carry human or alien passengers in a separate transportation shell. The MV2 is a sentient machine, although depending upon its machine intelligence is not always rated at full combat level. However, even the most basic transporter is entirely capable of operating independently without human or other biological crew.
The box contains:
- Multi-part resin model of Isorian Tograh MV2 Transporter Drone armed with a plasma light support
- Metal Isorian Spotter Drone
The transport shell is armoured with fixed-emission hyperlight shields, but the drone can be configured with a variety of armours, including reactive kinetic armour and phaseshift shields.
MVs are not always armed, as they serve as general cargo carriers as well as troop transporters, and may be involved in non-combat roles far from danger. Fighting vehicles commonly have fully-enhanced machine intelligence and carry a plasma light support or they can be fitted with sensor modules that enable the machine to form an extended combat shard with nearby troops.
Like other large drones, the MV2 is buoyed upon suspensors that enable it to move effortlessly over the ground surface and provide manoeuvring and low-speed capability. High forward speeds are facilitated by reaction thrusters. An ideal way to bring your troops into range in larger battles or small skirmish Encounters!

SV 21 Takhan pulse bikes are designed for speed and manoeuvrability, making them ideal for hit-and-run missions where they can easily avoid slower and more heavily armed opponents. Pulse bike formations are used in a reconnaissance role, scouting out the ground both ahead and around Isorian forces, as well as high-speed raiders or fast-moving seize-and-hold units.
This box set contains the following resin and metal models:
- 1 x Pulse Bike Commander with plasma carbine, mounted on a Pulse Bike with twin plasma carbines
- 2 x Pulse Bike Troopers with plasma carbines, mounted on Pulse Bikes with twin plasma carbines
- 3 x Plasma lance upgrades
The machines are buoyed upon suspensors whilst momentum is conveyed by a mix of suspensor propulsion and highly advanced synchronised pulse motors. Rider and machine are protected by phase armour augmented by hyperlight boosters.
Fully sized formations of pulse bikes operate independently under the control of their own command squads, equipped in the same way as regular Takhan squads with either twin plasma carbines or hard-hitting plasma lances, enhancing its capability to deal with a variety of targets.
