In den letzten Wochen kamen eine Reihe von Neuheiten für Dust 1947 heraus.
Neben ganz neuen Modellen und den Resculpts von Charaktermodellen gibt es auch Wiederveröffentlichungen von älteren Sets inkl. der verschiedenen Bauvarianten. Neben der Premium-Reihe mit bemalten Minis, erscheinen die Sets als fertig gebaute Primed-Version oder als ungebaute Kit-Version.
Annihilator – Hellgate Pattern – Premium – 115,00 USD

Recently promoted to Sergeant Major, Rosie continues to serve in the ASOCOM Counter Attack Division and is still the top Allied field mechanic. She continues to refuse to be sent to teach at at a military academy, but has accepted to be put in charge of her own team. She teaches all she knows to these girls, who might one day replace her or put together their own crew. Rosie just turned 30 this year and the Endless War is taking its toll on her, but her dedication and courage are still unmatched. She is presented here in Babylon camouflage pattern, as used in the Middle-East circa 1947. Please note that this miniature is cast in high quality resin.

Since she was a child Angela was fascinated with weapons and armaments. She won several marksmanship medals in her youth before joining the Special Forces of the secretive BlutKreuz Korps. Her talents were discovered by Sigrid Von Thaler and now the two women are like sisters. Angela takes care of many special assignments for the Korps. She’s one of its deadliest assassins. Some even whisper that it’s her who killed a very special target. Whose death changed the course of history and put the BlutKreuz in charge of the whole Axis. Her state of the art walker, the “Pink Flamingo”, is a one of a kind but its design his growing ever more popular within the Mercenary Companies. Irgendwie ist das Design von Dust bei Frauen echt … besonders. Achja und alle sind Blond und irgendwie auch nicht so gut bemalt.
Das Design der Tanks gefällt mir aber 🙂
Zu den Anfangszeiten war ich noch sehr angetan von Dust, als FFG noch der Publisher war. Man hatte die Modelle relativ einfach bekommen und Regeln gab es in der Regel gratis. Mit dem Wechsel zu Battlefront und dem Desaster das daraus resultierte war das Interesse dann ziemlich vorbei. Jetzt scheint es sich ja wieder zu verbessern, man sieht alte Modelle wieder auftauchen und neue kommen dazu, aber mein Interesse wecken sie leider nicht mehr.
Woran es liegt kann ich nichtmal so genau sagen, die Preise sind vermutlich im normalen Rahmen gestiegen, so kostet ein GW Charakter mehr, ist in meinen Augen aber auch Qualitativ besser.
Aus reinem interesse, sind die Modelle immer noch aus diesem „weichen“ Plastik wie aus den FFG zeiten oder ist es jetzt wenigstens klassisches Hartplastik?
