The Darkroot is a lush but foreboding region of Dark Souls™. Scarecrows, giant stone warriors, and the very plants of the forest stand sentinel to hinder any heroes foolish enough to brave this realm. Darkroot is the final resting place of Artorias, a deadly revenant and relentless swordsman who is guarded eternally by his companion, the Great Grey Wolf Sif.

Das sind ziemlich gepfefferte Preise…
Außerdem finde ich das Spiel maximal mittelmäßig – klar die Bosskämpfe machen Spaß, aber der Weg davor und das ewige Seelensammeln ist komplett repetitiv und ätzend. Und am schlimmsten: Es macht null Spaß die gleiche Karte mit den gleichen Gegnern 10 mal hintereinander zu machen…
Das war auch meine Befürchtung. Gerade, da es quasi die selben Räume sind mit bloß anderer Aufstellung und im Grunde null Gelände.
Allerdings – das Repetitive ist ja nun auch Teil der Videospiele. Doch die Art des Wiederversuchens hätte man etwas anders gestalten können.
Wir haben eine Hausregel für dieses Problem:
– Es gibt pro Encounter 4 Seelen mehr, dafür wird jedes Mal eine neue Encounter-Karte der entsprechenden Stufe neu gezogen.
Das reduziert Grinding enorm und schafft immer wieder neue Kämpfe.
So unterschiedlich kann die Wahrnemung sein. Mir und meiner Spielrunde macht das Spiel unmengen Spaß, gerade wegen dr Mechaniken. Ich freue mich auf die Erweiterungen.
