Auf Facebook geben CMON eine weitere Vorschau auf das neue Brettspiel Cthulhu: Death may die, das am 10. Juli 2018 auf Kickstarter starten soll.

Elizabeth „Lizzie“ Ives hails from London, and while she doesn’t have any divine blessing, or magical abilities, she is extremely lucky. Today we get a first look at her character art by Karl Kopinski and the miniature sculpted by RN Estudio.

The Byakee is a horror from another dimension. It uses its wings to swoop down on its prey, and its long arms to draw them in to its nightmare maw.
Yannick Hennebo is the sculptor responsible for this creature causing the the Investigators to lose sleep. They’ll face the Byakee when Cthulhu: Death May Die comes to Kickstarter on July 10 at 3 PM EST.
Ahmed Yasin may not have a medical degree from any recognized school, but his vast knowledge of arcane occult healing makes him a valuable ally for the Investigators. He can heal wounds, stitch cuts, and even reattach limbs.

The Cthonians are vile, featureless creatures with nothing defining them other than their swarming tentacles. They are always reaching, searching to grasp anything they can wrap up and squeeze.
This horror was sculpted by Jose Roig and will start its reign of terror when Cthulhu: Death May Die comes to Kickstarter on July 10 at 3 PM EST.
An Elder God needs followers to do its bidding, counter enemies, and kill for it, if necessary. Hastur’s Disciples are willing to do all that, and more for the King in Yellow. Today we get a first look at the miniature sculpted by Thierry Masson.

Hm… also der Byakhee ist nicht auch nur !annähernd! dem ähnlich was sowohl in den Geschichten beschrieben wurde als auch dem was COC-Rollenspielern bekannt ist. Den find ich mal komplett misslungen, der Cthonian ist auch sehr merkwürdig, geht aber noch.
Keine Ahnung wie oft die in den Geschichten auftauchen, aber Lovecraft hat die zumindest in The Festival nur beschrieben wie sie nicht aussehen. Seine Beschreibungen sind da meist eher primitiv. Wenn sie sich nach dem RPG richten, kann es sein, das es IP-Probleme gibt.

Bloß mal so ne Frage, ist ein Revolver nicht unheimlich unpraktisch, wenn man nur noch eine Hand hat?
Er ist genau 6x praktisch, dann wird er weggeworfen und ein neuer aus der Tasche gezogen. 🙂
