Idoneth Deepkin: Writer Insights – The Lore

The Idoneth Deepkin have some of the richest and most complex lore of any Warhammer Age of Sigmar faction. On the surface, these aelves fight for Order, like their predecessors – but dive deeper, and you’ll find a long and tragic history that gives them a unique identity of their own. The Idoneth Deepkin are more than just an army – they’re a culture with their own way of life beyond of the battlefield.

The Akhelian King Name Generator

This weekend, you’ll be able to pre-order the Akhelian King – dauntless rulers of the enclaves of the Idoneth Deepkin.

Characters like the Akhelian King offer a great opportunity to make your own heroes – after all, while named characters are cool, there’s something particularly special about leading your army with a commander of your own making.

To help get you started, we’ve made an Akhelian King generator, designed to allow you to give your army’s leader an aelvish-sounding name, as well as providing some prompts for further narrative building by letting you generate an age and a quirk for them too. Pick the ones you like the sound of or entrust yourself to the dice – it’s up to you!
