WizKids Announces New Star Trek Lines, Expands Existing Star TrekTM Offerings
HILLSIDE, NJ – April 4, 2017 – WizKids, the industry leader in quality pre-painted and unpainted plastic miniatures and publisher of premium tabletop games and accessories, is pleased to announce a renewed multi-year license with CBS Consumer Products to continue bringing their popular Star Trek brand to players and fans around the globe. Plans include expanding their highly successful Star Trek: Attack Wing line, while also offering new and returning Star Trek focused product lines.
Star Trek: Attack Wing
WizKids has announced two new product configurations will be joining the tactical miniatures game, Star Trek: Attack Wing — card packs and faction packs. Each Star Trek: Attack Wing Card Pack will include cards, token sheets, and the necessary dial connector pieces. Most of these cards and tokens will be brand new content, while some cards in each pack will be reworded versions of existing cards. Each Star Trek: Attack Wing Card Pack now has a lower price point than previous expansion pack releases, and will point to at least one existing release for players to acquire the correct ship sculpt, if they don’t already own a copy.Each Star Trek: Attack Wing Faction Pack will include four pre-painted plastic ships with cards, token sheets, dial connector pieces, bases, and pegs to accompany them. Many of the cards and tokens in these faction packs will be brand new and will allow a player to field a never-before-seen fleet from right out of the box! That’s not all, the amazing price point of these Star Trek: Attack Wing Faction Packs allows players to get four ships for the a price that is approximately two normal expansion packs! Star Trek: Attack Wing Card Packs will release in summer, and Faction Packs will be hitting store shelves in early fall.
Star Trek: Deep Cuts™ Unpainted Miniatures
For fans wanting to paint their very own Star Trek: Attack Wing ships, WizKids has them covered! Star Trek: Deep Cuts™ Unpainted Miniatures will be joining the newly released Deep Cuts™ line this summer and each pack will come with one highly-detailed ship, pre-primed with Acrylicos Vallejo primer, and include deep cuts for easier painting. The packaging of each different set will display the minis in a visible format and will contain a Star Trek: Attack Wing base, two Star Trek: Attack Wing pegs, a Star Trek: Attack Wing connector piece, and most will also include a decal sheet to allow players to paint their ships and then decal them for display or for use in a game of Star Trek: Attack Wing! Star Trek: Frontiers: The Return of Khan Expansion Set
Players and fans can look forward to a follow-up expansion for the hit game Star Trek: Frontiers, called The Return of Khan. Schade, ich hätte gehofft, sie verlieren die Lizenz und FFG spring ein und stellt endlich einigermaßen maßstabsgetreue und gut bemalte Star Trek Modelle her!
Das mit dem Maßstab is echt zum Kotzen… wenn das nich wär, hätte ich längst mit dem Spiel angefangen

Tja, läuft wohl gut genug. Schade eigentlich, denn die Star Trek Schiffe sind neben denen von X-Wing qualitativ echt eine Klasse schlechter…
Der Maßstab geht garnicht…..
WizKids fordert einem schon ein hohes maß an Abstraktion ab… ich hab hier einen Elfen der 3/4 der Größe des Baumelementars daneben misst.
Joa, es bringt einen dazu, kreativ zu werden. Also meine Dominionflotte für Attack Wing ist mittlerweile komplett im gleichen Maßstab, für meine Romulaner sind die richtigen Schiffe schon da, ich muss nur noch die Bases zurecht machen ;). Natürlich bringt das zusätzliche Kosten und Aufwand mit sich – muss eben jeder wissen, wie wichtig ihm/ihr das ist. Hauptsache ich kann meinen Kindheitstraum erfüllen und mit Star trek Schiffchen durch die Gegend fliegen, denn das Spiel an sich ist super und die Szenarios decken allerhand Episoden ab.

Hast Du auch den Warbird aus der Eaglemoss collection? Den gabs für 15€, super modell und passt von der Größe ziemlich gut.
Aber ja. So muss mans eigentlich machen…
Scheiß nur das das EIGENTLICH die Aufgabe des Herstellers wäre….
Jo, hatte mir mehrere Eaglemosswarbirds für 10-12€ geschossen bei ebay. Das Jem’hadarschlachtschiff war da eine „etwas“ größere Hausnummer… Import aus USA war am Ende echt teuer, da hätte ich mir sonst ’ne ganze Flotte von holen können 😀 Aber immerhin ist es ein echt hübsches Schiffchen und ein richtiger Klopper, der alle anderen in den Schatten stellt 🙂 – der ist allerdings auch noch nicht fertig – zu viele Projekte, ihr kennt das ja ;).
Jem’Hadas Schiff? Ich habe nur den Eaglemoss Kreuzer, und einige aus den USA importierte kleinere Modelle. Vielleicht sogar von derselben Quelle? Ist Dein Battle Cruiser aus Resin und kann auch als Türstopper verwendet werden? Der war mir damals leider zu teuer.
Und was übrigens total gut aussieht, ist das alte Plastikmodell der Raumstation aus Zorn des Khan von AMT, das man manchmal bei ebay günstig kriegen kann.
Ich hatte die im Film zwar kleiner in Erinnerug, aber die mitgelieferte Enterprise ist genauso groß wie die Whizkid Sachen!
Ach und nochwas: Khurasan hat ein ziemlich geiles Weltallmonster, dass ich aber auch noch nicht besitze.
Leider gefällt sich Wizkids darin in der xten Variante die immer gleichen Formen durchzunudeln.
