- SOKAR/BASTET – STANDING – (Bastet head shown but also includes Sokar head option)

History of WHISPER Design
Over the course of the last four months, the 3-D sculptors of Marchen Atelier – Heriberto and Gibran – and Tom Anders – of Impact! Miniatures – have collaborated with me in the creation of these miniatures.
We’ve gone from a fantastic two-dimensional art piece done by John Yechan Seung.
Gundam like TT gitbs viel zu wenige.
A deliberate choice on my part as the creator to flex between 6mm and 15mm scales, so that those who play the WHISPER wargame will be able to use whatever tiny soldiers/tanks they have available. A single game for a player would require only 4 WHISPER mecha, and 8 support units, be they infantry, power armor, or tanks.
Muss man mögen…
That’s fine. Danke for the thoughts. Yes, 28mm and Infinity wargamers can use these as mini-TAGs, but that was only part of my target goal. My overall goal was to make them visually impressive.
Since you only need 8 WHISPERs (4 per player), 16 support units, on a 3’x3′ (that’s about 92 centimeters by 92 centimeters) field, I wanted the game to play fast.
Also, the third generation are humanoid because they are much more like Evangelion in their designs. I’ve detailed that design selection choice here in this update: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1671822853/whisper-mecha-miniatures-45-60mm/posts/1888897
Still, Battletech this is not.
Indeed. 🙂 Would Deadpool pilot a WHISPER? Perhaps.

Also, my humble thanks and gratitude for sharing the Kickstarter with everyone here in Germany. If you like, feel free to stop on by the WHISPER Facebook Group, there’s plenty of folks there waiting in the wings to jump in on the action, and as I’ve iterated elsewhere, the alpha rulse for the game can be downloaded there, and they will remain free for everyone who wishes to playtest the game.
Danke schoen, and auf wiedersehen for now.
Oops, forgot to include the WHISPER Facebook Group link in my last comment. Here you are.
