Ouroboros Miniatures: Bloodpeak Barbarians Kickstarter
Ein weiterer Kickstarter für unsere Sammlung.
Hi everyone,
Welcome to our third Kickstarter campaign called Bloodpeak Barbarians! I am a big fan of barbarians, artwork created by great artists such as Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo and many more and I have always loved the esthetic that barbarians portray. Many years ago a company named Ilyad Games released a group of miniatures called the Vorag barbarians, sculpted by some of my favorite sculptors of all time! Allan Carrasco, Thomas David and Jacques-Alexandre Gillois. It was really sad when Ilyad Games went under and these beautiful miniatures got lost to the public.
I have always wanted to do a range of barbarian miniatures in 54mm scale and felt that making it a homage to those great miniatures and sculptors would be really cool. We took certain elements and gave it our own touch, updating it a bit so to say. Making sure they weren’t direct copies of course but giving people that feel that the Vorags had. I think we have succeeded in that. We have created a new range which should be exiting for both painters and collectors to have a go at!
The campaign is about three miniatures this time. The King and his Queen. And the third one, their son, comes in the form of a stretch goal.
All are sculpted by the very talented Olivier Bouchet in 54mm scale. They are cast in high quality resin as always by the renowed Grx Créations.
Producing high quality large scale resin miniatures is expensive and with your help we can again make sure that we can release them faster than if we would have done so in the old fashioned way.
