Knights Models: September Preview
Knight Models setzt im September auf den Joker und zeigt ein kleines Preview.
Haha hahaha haha hahahaha! Ha! Haha!
This September… Joke’s on you!
Montag soll es noch mehr Teaser geben, u.a. einen Blick auf das gefärbte Resin der Figuren.
Zusätzlich gibt es den dritten Teaser mit Änderungen in der 2. Edition – diesmal geht es um die Bewegungsregeln:
In today’s preview, we continue our look at the streamlined Movement rules with jumping, climbing and crouching.
By spending 1MC, a model can jump in any direction as Impaired Movement (so it counts as double the actual distance measured). Jumping is always measured from a model’s base. The total distance is subtracted from the remaining basic movement distance (BMD) as normal. However, as long as you have enough movement remaining, and enough MC to spend, you can jump as many times as you like during an activation.
When moving directly downwards using Leap Down, the movement distance is not considered Impaired – you simply measure from the model’s base to the new position.
Sometimes, an obstacle will be too high to jump, and it will need to be climbed instead. Climb distances are measured from the base, without spending any MC to climb, so it’s not too detrimental to scramble over a tall fence and keep moving.
Finally, we’ve made some changes to the Crouch action to make it more useful. A model will remain crouched until it moves (voluntarily or not). While it is crouched behind scenery, it gains a defensive bonus from enemy ranged attacks.
