The first codes for the 15mm Parthian range will be released tomorrow. These initial codes represent their appearance in the early empire, when fighting the Seleucids and the first contacts with the Romans.
Jurchen-Jin just completed the sculpting process. They were quite similar in appearance to the Sung but there were a number of differences. One was their heavy cavalry didn’t wear the vambraces that elite Sung cavalry wore, and they wore various types of helmets a bit different from the Sung. The close-fighting cavalry is shown here.
We have also made:
1) A khan (emperor if you prefer) and general
2) Rear rank Jurchen cavalry with bows, both armoured and unarmoured
3) Iron Pagoda elite cavalry (cataphracts)
4) unarmoured Chinese infantry with swords
5) unarmoured Chinese infantry with crossbowsOther troop types from the army list can be taken from the Sung range (and indeed several of the sets in this range can be used In the Sung army).
Usually takes six to nine months to get sculpts onto the store so I’m hoping to have them available by the end of the year.
Italian or Spanish light crossbowmen of the late 14th century. (There’s a third pose too but we’ll keep him a surprise.) They are part of a comprehensive late 14th century range the first codes for which, English longbowmen, will be released next week, followed by foot knights and command in jupon. Many more codes will follow, including models with looks specific to Spain and Italy.
