Khurasan: Elefanten und Parthien Kavallerie
Khurasan Miniatures zeigen neue Bilder von Elefanten und Parthien Kavallerie.
Just a quick note that we’ve just added a set of baggage elephants to our Siamese range.
They’re suitable for Southeast Asian armies throughout the ancient and medieval periods, and probably well beyond that as well.
Early Parthian king, satrap, war drummer and draco bearer. The draco bearer also comes with a flag pole because Parthians also made widespread use of cloth flags. Each figurine comes with an optional gorytas quiver/bowcase that can be added.
The first releases will represent warriors of the early Parthian Empire, established in a rebellious Seleucid satrapy, and so they are appropriate in appearance to face the Seleucids and Scythians, and later, the Armenians and of course the Romans. A complete early range will be released very soon, followed by later Parthians of the Iranian revival, who adopted a more Iranian apparel.
Early period Parthian horse archer, in art and as one of our upcoming sculpts. As you can see they look a bit different from the typical later period Parthian horse archer.
These are the guys who fought with, and then against, the Seleucids.

Schade, für die Elefanten hätte ich gerne Verwendung
Das Adjektiv heisst übrigens „parthisch“ falls ihr noch ne Überschrift mit vernünftigem Satzbau draus machen wollt. 🙂
