Apprentice Cinder
In our last Blacksmith’s Guild article we introduced you to the molten blade wielding Furnace, and talked through how we chose to represent him wrapping superheated swords around hapless opponents. Today it’s time to introduce you all to Furnace’s Apprentice, Cinder.
Can You Smell Burning?
The last time you were introduced to an Apprentice Blacksmith you met Sledge, a man that can hit so hard with his giant hammer that he puts certain Norse gods to shame. Cinder is a very different breed of player altogether. However, like Sledge, Cinder has a number of thematic and visual ties to her Master. Where the Master Blacksmith Furnace chooses to arm himself with unfinished heated steel broadswords, his Apprentice Cinder wields a crossbow that fires bolts tipped with superheated steel heads. Cinder keeps her crossbow bolts heated in an even smaller forge that Furnace’s, strapped to Cinder’s back like an oversized fire spewing quiver.

Here at Steamforged it’s been fantastic watching the forum & social media reactions to our articles on the first of the Blacksmiths Guild to be revealed, Anvil & Sledge, as well as our article on Blacksmith Guild team construction. Today though, we think it’s time to start showing you some more of the Blacksmiths Guild Ball team. When we revealed Anvil & Sledge we did so with redacted cards to tease you about what abilities they could have. While it was incredible fun for us watching you try to guess what abilities could be behind those shaded boxes, we decided we wouldn’t be quite so mean this time. Today you get to see the full player card for the Master Blacksmith Furnace.

Beide Teams schauen gut aus, aber die Schmiede gefallen mir bisher am besten!
Werden die neuen Teams dann aus Zinn oder diesem fürchterlichen Restic das auch schon in der Zweispielerbox zum tragen kam produziert?
Beide Teams sind bisher nur in PVC-Plastik erhältlich. Ob es jemals ein Release aus Metall oder Resin geben wird weiß keiner. Rechnen würde ich auch eher nicht damit
Ok dann bemal ich die gb Sachen die ich noch habe für die Vitrine und das wars. Mit dem Material scheidet es leider für mich aus. Danke für die Info.
Ich muss gestehen, das Material und die Qualität der Dark Souls Minis ist großartig. Aber für mich ist diese Umstellung nach Season 3 ebenfalls endgültig der Todesstoß für GuildBall. Sehr schade. Was ich mit dem Zeug mache, dass noch da ist, weiß ich indes noch nicht.
„Der Todesstoß“… *rolleyes* ein super System und die Farmer als erster richtiger Kunststoff Release sieht echt gut aus. Und falls jemand es wieder in den Raum wirft: die sollten etwas statischer werden, da es ihrer Meinung nach besser zu denen passt. Einzelne Figuren werden bisher auch weiterhin in Metall gebracht.
Ich freue mich darauf!
Dann fangt schon mal an Euch ein neues Hobby zu suchen.
PVC ist das neue Metall.
Fertigungsbedingt ist die Schärfe vom Guß einfach nicht so gut wie bei Zinn. Wenn mann natürlich keine Ansprüche an die Bemalung hat ist das natürlich ausreichend.
Wer solche Aussagen trifft sollte vielleicht selbst das Hobby wechseln. Wäre für die Community kein Schaden.
Erst einmal in der Hand halten und dann beurteilen.

Ich habe die PVC-Minis aus der 2-Spieler Box in der Hand gehalten. Das Zeug ist für PVC zwar ziemlich gut und fest, in der Detailschärfe kommt es aber nicht einmal an die CMON-Sachen wie zb. von Zombiecide:Black Plauge heran.
Für die Qualität werde ich keine Table Top Preise bezahlen. Ich habe hier noch einige Minis aus Resin und auch aus Zinn. Die sind um Welten besser als das PVC-Zeug. Zudem ist das PVC zum entgraten echt mühsam. Also ich werde passen. Auch wenn mir die blacksmith Sachen echt gut gefallen.
Ich warte echt schon darauf, bis es mal Scharmützel-Regeln für die Guildball-Minis gibt. 😀
Ich fürchte PVC wird das Material der Zukunft werden. Metall mag ich lieber. Davon mal abgesehen Schmiede oder Farmer ?? Das Maskottchen der Farmer ist knuffiger…
Die Schmiede bekommen wohl kein Maskottchen. Ihre Teamaufstellung wird auch einzigartig.

Ich mag die Idee, dass in den neuen Boxen Gelände, Tor und fraktionsspezifische Bälle enthalten sind. Die Farmer gefallen mir extrem gut, leider spielt das hier niemand… schade, ist ein sehr cooles und gutes Spiel!
Wenn du aus Mainz/Wiesbaden kommst, können wir gerne ein paar Spiele machen
Leider bin ich aus Eggenfelden / Wurmannsquick, das ist ne etwas weiter entfernte Sache 😉

Ich weis klingt immer so daher gesagt.. Ich hatte mit zwei Teams zugelegt, um zu Hause zu spielen. Habe dann im LGS meines Vertrauens mit einem Freund gespielt und nun sind wir immerhin 6 Spieler. Das Spiel macht wirklich Spaß. Vielleicht kannst du einen Mitspieler überzeugen, ich drück die Daumen..
