Though less common within the ranks of the Legio Custodes than their peers, those warriors who comprise the Sagittarum Guard Sodalities nevertheless fulfil a number of vital roles within the Legio’s order of battle. MECHANICUM KARACNOS ASSAULT TANK – 105,00 GBP
A variant of the Triaros Armoured Conveyor common within the Mechanicum Taghmata, the Karacnos is a dedicated assault tank, its armoured chassis and copious transport compartment devoted to the mounting and munitions store of a single heavy weapon system – a mortar battery of ‘Karacnos’ radiological warheads, designed to sweep an area clear of organic life for later acquisition by the forces of the Machine God.
These warheads are rather volatile, meaning this tank is heavily protected by armoured shutters which provide two modelling options: the tank can have these open or closed. As well as this, its rear-mounted self-targeting lightning-blasters are movable from a resting position to battle-ready, meaning this machine can go from mobile artillery platform to true assault tank with a single command – especially given the front-mounted shock ram it shares with its ancestor.

DWARF DEATHROLLER – 38,00 GBP
One of the most spectacular, if not the most efficient, secret weapons fielded by any Blood Bowl team is the Dwarf Deathroller. It was first used by the Dwarf Warhammerers back in ’64 and has been a regular part of many a Dwarf team’s arsenal ever since. The Deathroller’s continuing popularity is no doubt due to the fact that it’s so easily improvised from the rollers found at the more sophisticated and well-kept grass-laid stadiums. Referees have done their best to keep Deathrollers off the playing field, and quite a few have ended up as flat as a pancake as a result!
Should you be looking for an especially eye-catching and killsome Secret Weapon for your Dwarf Blood Bowl teams, this resin kit is the machine for you. Das Custodes Upgradeset ist für Forge World Verhältnisse ja geradezu günstig. Der Panzer ist auch ok. Erinnert mich an eine Mischung aus Steampunk und den Zukunftsabschnitten der Terminatorfilme…
Die Mechanikuspanzer sind echt hübsch, könnte vom Design auch von H. R. Giger sein.
Der Deathroller ist dafür leider ein Fail. Blood Bowl ist Fantasy Football, nicht 40K Football. Irgendwie hat was Fantasy angeht GW grade so völlig die Orientierung verloren. Grade das 30K Design der Custodis würde so auch gut zum Design der aktuellen Fantasyschiene passen :notok:

Den ganz ganz alten kannte ich auch nicht nicht 😮
Viel ist es aber auch nicht. Ein Waffenset für schwere Waffen (die zum Teil mehr Teile haben) liegen um 13 GBP. Köpfe kosten 11.50 GBP für 10, also etwas über ein GBP für einen einzelnen Kopf. Ich denke mit Blick auf die Zahl der Teile ist es also ganz normales Forgeworld Niveau und es ist ein Upgrade für ein 45€ Squad also nict billig, wenn man Preis / Modell betrachetet.
(Hier fällt mir auf, dass ich bei GW quasi nur noch „Brett“ Spiele gekauft habe, da war der Preis in letzter Zeit immer kaum zu schlagen).
Mit den Mechanicum Modellen von FW kann ich wenig anfagen, genau wie bei Bloodbowl – beides trifft micht meinen Geschmack.
Klar, Fantasy und so, aber der deathroller kann doch nie im Leben so stehen, oder? Schwerpunkt und so?
Hinten Carbon, vorne Stahl. Solange die Walzen das Schwerste sind, passt das schon 🙂
Öhm….nö.
Selbst wenn der Roller selbst nix wiegt oder nur aus Balsaholz ist. Der Zwerg dürfte was wiegen. Somit ist der Schwerpunkt der Gesamtkonstruktion außerhalb des äußersten Punkte der Auflagefläche und damit …. kippt es. Da kann der Roller selbst so schwer sein, wie er will. Da er ein liegender Zylinder ist, rollt dieser.
Die Auflagefläche ist nur ein kleiner Streifen, wo der Roller auf der Wiese aufliegt.
Wenn der Roller ein sehr schwerer, rechteckiger Kasten wäre, würde ich Dir Recht geben. Dann gäbe es eine Chance, dass der Zwerg da oben in der Luft bleibt, aber nur, wenn es keine Achse.
Durch die Achse müsste der Zwerg zusätzlich nach unten sausen, außer er gibt richtig viel Gas. Im Rückwärtsgang. Darum neigen sich Segwayfahrer ja auch ein wenig nach vorne, damit sie eben beim Fahren eben nicht nach hinten über kippen.
Verdammt, mit nix wiegen meinte ich die Plattform vom Fahrer, nicht den Roller…
Krass, war mir gar nicht aufgefallen, dass das Ding keine Stabilisationsrädchen irgendwo hat. War einfach fest davon ausgegangen, sowas essentielles hätten die wohl bedacht. xD
Leute der Runenschmied hat da ne Rune der Balance draufgetackert und schon funktionierts. Und während die Gegner noch diskutieren das das ja so nicht geht rollt der über ihre Köppe! Danach wird er vom Platz gestellt wegen physikalischem Unsinn und die Realismusnerds im gegnerischen Fanblock sind dann auch zufriedengestellt. Danach verwandelt ein Orkshamane den Shiri in einen Frosch den dann die Bloodweiserbabes beider Mannschaften knutschen wollen, könnte ja nen verwunschener Slaneshprinz sein. Auf alle fälle ein guter Tag für Kabalvision bei den ganzen durcheinander.
So jetzt platzt mein Kopf und Hinten hat er jawohl Stützräder/Messergedöns❤️
Autsch 38 Pfund… …mir persönlich gefällt der Deathroller, aber ein Spontankauf wird das so nicht.
Die finden ihren deathroller so toll, dass sie es extra schwer machen den zu kaufen. Daher zu teuer und zu gewagt im Design.
Der Mechanicum Panzer ist dagen sehr gut gelungen – trotz eher gewagtem Design, aber auch ziemlich sakzig bepreist.
Ich hab mich direkt bei den ersten Preview Bildern in den Deathroller verliebt. Wird spätestens Ende April definitiv bestellt.

Der Karacnos ist wesentlich besser gelungen als der grauenhafte Macrocarid Explorator. Der Preis ist hoch, sind aber auch elend viele Bauteile. Interessantes Teil.
