Dicestarter 2: Was ist eine Dicestarter?
Simply, it’s a pre-order campaign to help fund the production of a reprint of the 7TV Boxed set.
So if you missed the first print run, or have downloaded the free 7TV PDF and just want to upgrade, then join the Dicestarter and get the second (and final) printing of the 7TV boxed set!
We’ve updated the rulebooks and profile cards with all the latest miniature photos and errata – so you can enjoy the definitive version.

What is 7TV?
7TV is our tabletop miniatures game of high-octane spy-fi action set in the worlds of 1960s and 70s cult TV shows. Spies, minions, masterminds, ghosts, aliens, officialdom, hitmen, coppers and metal killers are all waiting for you. Relive some of 7TV Studio’s great lost shows or create your own and reach new audiences! 7TV is back in 2015 with an all new 2nd edition, so grab your shooting script and lets go!
The basic rules allow you to put together a cast of between 3 and 24 (or more!) models and fight other casts in abandoned warehouses, secret volcano lairs, forbidding jungles and underwater bases – in fact anywhere you like! Use your star qualities, special effects and gadgets to get your mission accomplished before the countdown ends and the episode is over. The core rules are generic, so if you’ve seen it on screen or had a dream about your perfect lineup, you can put your cast together quicker than ever before.

What’s in the box?
This contains all the rules and cards you need to play 7TV, with dice, counters, tokens and a blast template. The rules have been updated and mercilessly spellchecked from the free beta PDF version, and now come in two full colour rulebooks packed with background and photographs from the world of 7TV. How long does the campaign run?
This pre-order campaign runs for six weeks from Friday 29 September to Sunday 19th November. After this date, and until the stock physically arrives, you will still be able to pre-order, although the box set will change to £50. So if you really want the deals you see now, get it before the campaigns ends!
So how do I order?
Simply choose the Dicestarter products from the list below. The boxed set can be bought seperately or with the two starter casts, plus individual 7TV game components can be added too.
Can I add other stuff to my order?
No problem at all. Feel free to add any other products from the range when you order. However, if you order any other non-dicestarter products, these will only ship when your whole order is complete. So if you want them before everything ships in January, just contact us to let us know at mail@crooked-dice.co.uk and we we will arrange the additional postage costs.

OK, kennt wer nen Hersteller von Cate Archer?
Ein Kickstarter mit Miniaturen,die schon lange im Shop erhältlich sind ? Na ich weiß nicht.Die Gussformen sind doch schon in Betrieb.Ein Set Miniaturen hat andere Köpfe erhalten,mehr nicht.
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen,das ein Kickstarter dazu nötig ist.
Die Gelder um die Grundbox zu produzieren müßte doch vorhanden sein,die dazu gehörigen Miniaturen entnehmen die aus dem Regal und gut ist.
Für mich hat die Sache den faden Beigeschmack,die die nur nicht ihr eigenes Geld an die Hand nehmen wollen.

anbei -lohnt sich das Grundsystem ?
Ich persön,ich mag das System sehr: es ist vielseitig und begünstigt cineastisches und Szenarien-orientiertes Gameplay. Man kann neben dem Hauptthema (60s und 70s TV ) auch andere Genres gut abbilden: 30s Pulp, Star Wars 🙂

Daher bleibe ich bei meinem ersten Thread.
@weyly – Du kannst dir die Regeln Kostenlos herunterladen. Es ist sehr gut gemacht.
Ich nenne es einfach mal Risikominimierung.
Und es ist jedem selbst überlassen diese Vorbestellung zu machen oder nicht
Tatsächlich ist der Ankündigung zu entnehmen, dass es eine Vobesteller-Kampagne ist, die der Finanzierung des Nachdrucks der Grundbox dient. Derartige – wie ich bestätigen kann – aufwendige Produktionen (Schachtel, Booklets, Karten, Counter, etc.) sind für kleine und kleinst Unternehmen wahrscheinlich sonst nicht zu realisieren.
In der 7TV Community wurde es mehrfach bedauert, dass die bOx vergriffen war.
Ich war auch 10 Jahre Selbständig gewesen und habe zukünftige Projekte von dem Gewinn vorheriger Arbeiten bezahlt.
Das nennt sich Rücklagen bilden.Dann muss man eben im Vorfeld weniger Geld aus der Kasse für seinen Lebenunterhalt entnehmen.
Ich bin der Letzte ,der das Prinzip des Kick in diesem Fall Dicestarter nicht gut findet.
Sofern es dazu dient das nicht solvente Firmen ihre Projekte finanzieren können,die sonst nie den Weg in den Handel gefunden hätten.
In diesem Fall sehe ich dies komplett anders.
Viele Kickstarter diesen nun noch dem Zweck,das die Hersteller kein eigenes Geld in die Hand nehmen wollen,das erledigen nun die Backer,die Hersteller wollen kein unternehmerisches Risiko mehr tragen und durch den Dicestarter sind im Vorfeld alle Kosten abgedeckt ,die Anzahl der Vorbestellungen ist bekannt und alle weitere Verkäufe sind als Gewinn zu betrachten.
Ich mag viele der Figuren dieses Herstellers,mein Bauchgefühl findet den Dicestarter trotzdem nicht richtig.
Das ist alles nur meine persönliche Meinung,mehr nicht.Das heißt nicht das ich richtig liege.
Naja, es ist halt eine Vorbestellung und wie du richtig sagst, die meisten Vorbestellungen dienen es dazu heraus zu finden wie viele Leute es haben wollen.
Man kann seine Fertigung einfacher Planen und Crooked Dice macht wohl ein zusätzliches Kontigent zu den Vorbestellten das dann normal in den Handel kommt.
Die Gewinnmarge bei der Vorbestellung dürfte gegen Null sein und wie bei vielen kleinen Tabletopfirmen kann es sogar sein das „Geld aus der Kasse für seinen Lebenunterhalt entnehmen.“ bereits schon nicht mehr passiert.
Naja das die meisten Unternehmen Kickstarter „missbrauchen“ würde ich jetzt nicht denen ankreiden die diesbezüglich ehrlich sind und es offen als Pre-order bezeichnen(da fehlt irgendwo n , ).
