Warpath: Neuheiten und ein Ronnie

Mantic Games haben gleich mehrere Neuheiten für Warpath vorgestellt.

In this Update:

• Update on shipping times.
• Previews of the Strider, Plague Murderbirds and more!

So, the impotant information first. We’ve been working hard on getting ready for the dispatch operation for Warpath and we have almost everythign manufactured and ready to pack up at this point.

We’ve had delays on a few components, mostly the new Hard Plastics and printed materials. We’ve now got accurate dates for these to arrive, at which point we can start shipping.

As a result, the shipping of Warpath Wave 1 has been put back to October 2016. We’ll have the last components arriving mid-to-late September, so we don’t anticipate and further delays. If any do occur, we’ll keep you up to date.

Correcting Addresses

If you need to correct your address from the one you provided in the Pledge Manager and haven’t already done so, then you must get in touch before Monday 19th September. If you inform us after this deadline, you may incur extra shipping costs to reroute your pledge and we cannot guarantee that you will recieve your pledge.

Fresh from the Studio!

Swooping down from the skies on unsuspecting victims, the Plague Murderbirds are deadly skirmishers for Plague forces. These metal birds come perched on various pirces of sci-scenery, or in mid-flight. Each one comes complete with gribbly plague mutations – note the one in the centre who has taken a victim’s eyeball!

The Ajax Strider is one of the most resilaint units the Enforcers can field. Lacking the normal speed of normal Enforcer vehicles, the Ajax makes up for this in terms of sheer strength and brute force – backed up with an armoured cockpit and massive defender shield.

Hacker Half-Tail is a Master Creeper beyond compare. Untrustworthy and backstabbing, he is as much feared as he is respected by the other Veer-Myn. In games, he is able to sabotage objectives – destroying them in order to deny them to the enemy. Played at the rigth time, this can turn the game in your favour – although it will invetably put him in the line of fire.
