Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor-Martyr Sternenkarte

The Star Map in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr

Our upcoming Action-RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr will not only have a single-player campaign in a classic sense, it will also have a big, sandbox-style map that you can explore with your ship. It is called the Star Map of the Caligari Sector. Here you can choose to play missions on different planets, moons and other points of interest by yourself or with your friends.

Viktor, our Narrative Designer will explain to you what this means:

“In Inquisitor – Martyr, you will be an Inquisitor with your own ship, free to wander our own sandboxed Caligari Sector and complete missions. The Star Map represents the sector. A sector consists of subsectors, star systems and points of interests.

Inquisitor – Martyr starts with one of the subsectors unlocked, but it’s a rich and complex world to begin with, encompassing star systems, countless planets, which all have been cut off from the rest of the Galaxy for a very long time. Still, as a persistent open world sandbox it will be expanded further and the Star Map will continuously grow.”

So, there you have it! An entire sector to explore! Are you excited to discover the mysteries of the Caligari Sector? Let us know!

(Just a quick disclaimer: screenshots are from the pre-alpha build, so they might change as we develop the game further. Still, any feedback or suggestion is appreciated at this stage.)

Open World wäre noch top.
