S.T.A.R. Trooper: Neuer Kickstarter
RBJ Game Company haben zur Zeit ihren S.T.A.R. Trooper Kickstarter am laufen.
S.T.A.R. Troopers
This is Jeff Rodman, AKA Ironrook from Fortress Figures, and I have made miniatures all of my adult life. I generally work behind the curtain for other miniatures companies but now it’s time to step from behind the curtain and create some pet projects I have had rolling around in my head for some time. Along with my brother, Ben, and my sister, Ronda, we are reaching out to the miniatures gaming community to make our first Kickstarter a success. We’re confident that with this first success under our belt, we will continue to realize additional great products that could not have been possible without you.
To get the ball rolling, we have a set of S.T.A.R Trooper miniatures. The core set of 5 poses is already done and ready to go. These miniatures were designed by my brother Ben and the 3D sculptures were brought to life by veteran sculptor Bobby Jackson. The molding was done by me at Fortress Figures and personally hand cast by us.
Miniatures provided are not painted. Slotted plastic base provided for each miniature not textured.
Miniatures produced in spin-cast white metal or spin-cast resin.
Metal Castings
Here are some of the production copies of the white metal troopers.
SCALE
Miniatures are sculpted to the commonly used 28mm gaming scale.
REWARDS
We are envisioning our stretch goals to reflect our ability to add additional poses as funding levels are reached. As each goal is achieved, we will add new poses to the core set with the first level adding two figures and each level thereafter swapping out redundant poses for new different ones with a final goal of 10 figures of 10 different poses. Additionally, we have an early bird incentive and two bonus figures to add to the core group.
What do I get?
The initial CORE set includes 8 figures.
You get one each of Pose #1 and Pose #2.
You get two each of Pose #3, Pose #4 and Pose #5.
The resin core set is exactly the same as the white metal core set but is made in resin instead of metal. It will contain the same poses. As poses for the white metal core set open up, the same will happen to the resin core set so they will be the same in every way except for the material.
The early bird pledges also include the limited edition medic.
The resin sets will include the same figures as the metal set including stretch goals and medic in resin.
Stretch Goals:
Add Ons
Add $5.00. Plus one single figure. Any available unlocked core figure pose. White metal ONLY.
Add $40.00. Plus one core set. Any available unlocked core figure poses. White metal ONLY.
Add $15.00. Plus one prototype Hunter Killer Infestor.
This was hand sculpted several years ago for me by Matthew Beauchamp of Hydra Miniatures but I never released it.
It is the prototype for the „Infestor Aliens“ we plan for a later date.
Painted model for display only. Model provided will not be painted.

Könnte vielleicht was anderes darstellen.
automatisierter Wechsellauf evtl.
ein bisschen arg Retro …
bei dem Alien finde ich das ja noch cool, ich mag solche nostalgischen Monster…
die Trooper wissen mich aber nicht zu überzeugen.
