Relicblade: Bone & Darkness Update

Der Kickstarter hat bisher mehr als 15.000 USD eingespielt und damit die folgenden drei Stretch Goals freigeschaltet:
The Deep: Guest Artist Series
As the creator of Relicblade I have enjoyed unprecedented creative freedom, and thanks to your help I’ve been able to get my unfiltered imagination onto tabletops the world over! It’s such an incredible experience that I want to share it with artists who have styles that shouldn’t be filtered before smashing up dungeons around the world. In accordance with what is right and just, I’m launching the Relicblade Guest Artist Series.
I first saw Keegan Kaya McGee’s work on ye olde world wide web. His art delights me to no end. His style is a similar mixture of badass and goofy like my own. However, his work is completely different in so many fantastic ways! This wonderful blend of similar yet completely wacky and unique made him the perfect choice for my first guest artist. Keegan did the illustrations for the cards, we collaborated on the rules, and I’ll do the sculpture! It’s all very exciting…

Dieses Stretch Goal aktivierte also eine dritte Erweiterung, die in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstler Keegan Kaya McGee entwickelt wurde. Sie kann als Add-on dazu gekauft werden. Für 5,00 USD bekommt man ein Pack mit Karten, für 10,00 USD gibt es ein neues Modell, das wahlweise als Shark Warrior oder als Eel Sorcerer zusammengebaut werden kann.
Dieses Stretch Goal ermöglicht dem Schaffer, eine Miniatur für „Synvar the Sneak“, einen legendären Echsenmenschen-Spion und -Assassinen zu machen, dessen Karte bereits im „Relicblades Legends“-Booster enthalten war. Die Miniatur kann als Add-on für 10,00 USD hinzugefügt werden.
I want the Campaign Rules so bad I can taste it. It’s a pretty big undertaking so I needed to place the goal up here at 15k. I know I’ll need to take a pretty decent chunk of time out of regular work to make this happen, but I sure as heck want to. I love a good pick-up death-match style game, but especially in a fantasy setting like this I want to see my characters advance and take on dangerous new adventures.
Mit diesem Stretch Goal hat Sean nun genug Mittel zur Verfügung, um sein Ziel eines Kampagnen-Systems für Relicblade wahr zu machen. Das Buch dazu wird nicht, wie ursprünglich geplant, als 10,00 USD Add-on verfügbar sein, sondern allen Pledges gratis hinzugefügt. Wer nur digitale Produkte gepledged hat, bekommt das PDF, wer auch physische Produkte pledged, bekommt das gedruckte Buch.

Tolles Spiel, ich finde insbesondere die einfach gehaltenen und eleganten Spielmechaniken sehr gelungen. Auch dass alles aus einer Hand kommt merkt man dem Spiel an.
Das ist sooo schön, aber gerade jetzt läuft für mich zu viel tolles in 15mm als das ich da noch mit anfangen könnt (15mm nicht-Tau Mecha, Ion Age Jetbikes, Khurasan und jetzt der zweite Versuch des CH Kickstarters).
Ansonsten ist das gezeigte echt knuffig und erinnert mich sehr positiv an Lands of Lore und eine märchenhafte dafür weniger grimme und weniger dunkle Fantasy!
