Odyssey ARGONAUTS: Kickstarter Update Nr.23
Von Odyssey ARGONAUTS gibt es ein neues Kickstarter Update.
Hello one and all!
One of the most frustrating things about Kickstarters is the end of the Kickstarter. As a member of society lacking the skills to actually do the majority of the stuff I need for JoeK Minis, everything kind of becomes a bit of a waiting game! As ever, I kind of want all the stuff now, but that just doesn’t work out in real life does it?
No.
No it does not.
However, after a short delay whilst Dave was finishing up other commissions, the good news is we’re on the way…well, we have some nice new weapons coming along!
Yay! Progress indeed 🙂 .
It makes me want more though! Hopefully, as and when Dave gets bits and pieces done, I’ll be a little bit more speedy with the updates – believe me when I say this:
I want to see more of this stuff just as much as you!
In other news, there’s movement afoot on the Poseidon front. Stephane is cracking on nicely with this guy, and whilst I do know he never likes showing off WIPs of his work, I thought it would be cruel not to show off something!
Bear in mind, there’s still a lot of work to go on this guy, but I think he’s looking phenomenal. Can’t wait until he’s all done!
Last but not least, my faithful sculpting chum Robby has finished Achilles, and I think it’s one of his best 🙂 . He even managed to sculpt an entirely separate 32mm base for him to sit on too! Future planning…as and when a game does manage to spring into life, I thought it best to have the heroes on the same size base! I think he looks great on both though:
I should point out that everyone who has put money into having this guy WILL get the alternate base as well – not entirely sure if that will happen when it makes it to full retail, so you’re getting some great value for money there!
Well, a nice bit of resin to do stuff with anyway.
So, thanks all for reading through (and if not reading through, at least looking at the pretty things!), and I’ll get back to staring at my computer…waiting for more emails with updates from the guys!
It’s a tough life y’know 😉
See you soon!
Joe
