Hmm, noch ein Spiel im WW Ii Setting. Davon gibt es gefühlt schon mindestens zwei zu viel. Würde mich mal interessieren, was Airfix – sind das nicht eigentlich sonst reine Modellbausatzhersteller? – dem Szenario noch für neue Seiten entlocken will. Ok, die Kartenkomponente hört sich interessant an, ist aber keineswegs absolut neu.
Hier geht es wohl viel weniger darum, dem Setting neue Seiten zu entlocken, sondern vor allem Modellbauer mit einem niedrigschwelligen Angebot an Wargaming heranzuführen und ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, ihre Modelle einzusetzen. Tatsächlich ist meiner Erfahrung nach die Modellbau- von der Wargamingszene noch weitgehend getrennt, auch wenn es natürlich Überschneidungspunkte gibt. Da kann es schon helfen, wenn ein Modellbauer in einem Modellbauladen auf ein Spiel von einem Hersteller trifft, den er kennt.
Abgesehen davon ist Innovation ja kein zwingendes (wenn auch ein durchaus wünschenswertes) Kriterium dafür ein neues System herauszubringen.
Lieber zu viel WW II Zeug/Spiele als
den ganzen Zombie Schrott… 😉
Außerdem klingt es irgendwie nett.
wenn man die Miniaturen weglässt ist es sowas wie ein Pocket-Tabletop.
Gibts auch schon, aber nett ist es trotzdem.
